Here's a thought to continue with the something with Elvis theme.............Adam performed on Idol for season 11 and the other performer the same day on the show was ..............Lisa Marie Presley.........now assuming they met and perhaps even chatted. Tie that in with Shosh's asking for video from him mentoring on Idol during Elvis week and the more recent clues. Hmmmmmmmm - the boy does resemble Elvis a tad bit.............

Adam met Priscilla in Season 9, so he already had an Elvis connection. But, that being said, I am very against Adam doing anything Elvis related right now. Freddie, Queen, Elvis?? Would like Adam to just be Adam Lambert for now! |

Adam FANtasy - Love the FANtasy’s from yesterday. Looking forward to new additions. I am not much of a creative writer. Experience has been with technical procedures, drafting rules and regulations, operational procedures – pretty boring stuff. So for inspiration I thought about researching some opening lines from various authors over time. (Credit listed to the authors & book): The towers of Zenith aspired above the morning mist; austere towers of steel and cement and limestone, sturdy as cliffs and delicate as silver rods. (Sinclair Lewis- Babbitt) Austere towers and silver rods – this could lead to something to explicit and be banned so leaving that alone.  It was a dark and stormy night … (Edward George Bulwer-Lytton –Paul Clifford) Boring but it would depend on how Adam defined a dark and stormy night via For Your Entertainment. 8-) It was the best of times, it was the worst of times . . . .(Charles Dickens – Tale of Two Cities) Label/No Label – not sure how that would play out. :-/ I had the story, bit by bit, from various people, and, as generally happens in such cases, each time it was a different story. (Edith Wharton - Ethan Frome) Twitter is the Devil! And the possibilities are to endless and probably would exceed the 500 word limit. For a long time, I went to bed early. (Marcel Proust – Swann’s Way) Now I stay up all night reading Atop, checking in to Twitter, and searching for WITWIAL?! He was born with a gift of laughter and a sense that the world was mad. (Raphael Sabatinit-Scaramuoche) Now this has promise and will think about how this could open a story.  |

But the "American Idol" finalist says he believes Freddie would "be down" with him fronting the group. He says surviving Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May have "been really cool" about telling him Freddie Mercury stories to help him understand "the kind of guy" Freddie was. Adam adds that Roger and Brian continually tell him that he and Freddie "would have gotten such a kick out of each other" and "probably would have made each other laugh" -- which Lambert considers to be "quite a compliment." But Adam admits "there will only be one Freddie Mercury," and that there's "really no comparing." He says that as Queen's frontman he's not attempting to be Freddy, but is "just trying to kind of pay tribute." Folks, does anyone know what's going on with the Fan Club? This is the first year I have not received a membership renewal reminder. I went to check the site and seems that only the $9.99 membership is offered at the moment. I wonder if they are winding down... Is anyone here posting there? Do you know if there is any viable traffic on that site?
