I find the desperate and begging tweets to other musicians and celebrities about the hypem voting just horrible. If tweeting to them is something you want to do at least don't beg and whine! Tweet the link with pls vote - that's quite enough in my world. I'm all for voting and it's great if we get as many fans as possible to participate. To me LMD belonging to the top group is great already. I agree with this. I am so embarrassed for Adam by all these tweets to celebrities asking them to vote or tweet for Adam. Just because they are fans, or expressed interest in Adam seems to make them fair game for spamming at times. Reminding fans is one thing, and helpful if not done in excess, but involving celebrities makes me shudder, glad I'm not the only one.

I regret to inform you that Bedlam fanzine is on indefinite hold right now, due to some personal issues of the people in charge ( which would not be me, in spite of the popular misconception:). So there will be no September issue, sniff, sniff. It was supposed to be about fashion. For those of you who are interested, the two essays I wrote can be found here: aleksandrakv.tumblr.com/Loved your essays, Aleks - you have a real gift and I thank you for sharing it with us. I especially loved this paragraph: He has left indelible marks on me, the ones having nothing to do with a tattooist’s ink and everything with changing me from the inside. I have become more tolerant, creative, brave, strong, intelligent, understanding, intuitive, informed, respectful, friendlier, open-minded, introspective, determined, persistent, demanding, loving, insightful, forgiving… — yes, it is a long and never-ending list. You cannot observe this man’s work and ways without him at least a little bit imprinting on you, without being changed along the way. These are not some random adjectives. Behind each one of them there is a true story in my head, as big as a mountain, but they are my stories and my truths and I will leave you having and keeping your own for yourself

Tweet the link with pls vote - that's quite enough in my world. I'm all for voting and it's great if we get as many fans as possible to participate. To me LMD belonging to the top group is great already. A simple tweet to vote for a poll with no explanation would have been ignored. It's hard to explain how 1 vote would matter because of points, or the importance of publicizing the poll by tweeting it, in 140 characters. Boy George asks for his own votes. Adam does not, so fans have to help. It's clearly fans asking, NOT Adam, so there's no "desperation", if that's how one sees it, coming from Adam. It's obviously zealous fans who want to help Adam, which I'm sure his friends understand, even if they don't respond. I'm glad Boy George did, and I'm very happy Adam publicized Boy George's poll. You have your "world". I have mine, I guess.

I wasn't suggesting anyone do anything, I was merely commenting that IF the difference in the #1 and #2 slots was the no. of followers associated with the tweet than someone w/ lots of followers would have a greater impact than lots of tweets with few nos. of followers. I've certainly not tweeted any other celebrity nor suggested anyone here do it, sorry if people jump to that conclusion. it was merely an observation.

QUIET TIMES MEAN SEARCHING FARTHER AFIELD for NEWS ::
Looks like Neil has joined Adam with some face hair ..... developing his own mo and beard .... I also attached his video, as it's quite funny -- he's trying to review a game after eating a very hot pepper .... .. CRAZY I wish we could have a Glamily area for more posts like this. I don't keep up on his friends and family but I'm always interested in hearing from others about what they are up to. Looked it up and Steam has it (if you have gaming kids like my young teen, you might have heard of it) we may try it out. And yes, Neil is funny. I enjoy his vids, I'll have to look up his Polaris youtubes next. Has some merit...kind of like a Sauli Central... just a link... ie Inspired by Adam has options for something like this in that area. There certainly are "OFF/ON TOPIC threads" for conversations. There are times when the thread evolves in diff directions....easy enough to direct fandom to a post in another spot. Until that happens..and considering the IN Link for Neil was posted the other day...we now have another clue as to where he works. I checked out Polarus youtube Neil Lambert..there may other videos Neil has done. Another link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBF3WiKrPzw

Adamrocks, I know!
I tried thanking everyone, via one-handed tweeting since my other hand was busy stirring dinner, but it was mission impossible. I am very grateful, to everyone here, to everyone who read.
Thank you all so much<333
