Ok, so 'hahaha' means that the song list is already determined and therefore this question does not matter? Is that what Adam is trying to say? Or is he saying, thanks for throwing God knows what new song catalog at him last minute, as if he could pick up any song in a matter of minutes? Btw, I got a question about performance style and presentation of songs: Why is it disrespectful to imitate Freddie, but totally ok, if Adam during 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', starts having a Elvis dance moves or a snarl or otherwise imitates him? It's not that I disagree with the sentiment, I just wonder why that is the way it is? JMHO -- Elvis fans celebrate and encourage impersonation. Both his birthplace museum and Graceland have office impersonator competitions. Freddie fans reject imitators. Some believe the music should be retired. (Thankfully it is still being performed live.) I am glad that Adam does these songs in his own style. WWTLF and TSMGO are IMO better Adamized. Other songs, like Bohemian Rhapsody should be done true to the recording and as Freddie sang it. |

*Spoiler Alert* Adam and Queen will be in Las Vegas rehearsing 17-19. I also know where but I am reluctant to give that info  They may do a partial day of rehearsals on the afternoon of the 16th but not likely. Thanks, and yes, please leave the location private.  |

It has to be a surprise to Brian to have the #1 and #2 requests be Operatic Rock Songs vs. their classic "football" rock songs -- WWRY -- or their most famous song -- BoRhap -- or the songs mega Queen fans love like to hear -- Seven Seas of Rhye, Another One Bites the Dust, Killer Queen, etc. etc. They have so many songs!! |

OK...so I went and listened for the first time (only for you Adam) to Applause and watched the Judas video. Applause did nothing for me and I did feel her being 'self-absorbed', using Craazyforadam's words, so I got nuthin' listening to it. And the Judas song sounded like all the other songs I've heard her sing....always with the pop sound and having the talking part thingy (whatever you call it) in the songs. But...I think Adam can take these songs and make them full of energy and dramatic...with real feeling in them. So if he ends up doing them I'll be anxious to see his 'magic touch' dominate them! |

And i hope adam never thinks that is what most his fans want from him...operatic performances. I don't mind it every now and then, but would never keep me as a fan. Soaked was a frequently skipped song on FYE. WWTLF did not do for me what it seemed to do for a lot of the vocal fandom. I am bit surprised that I Want to Break Free was not requested more. He seemed so joyous when he performed it in London. It took me a couple of listens to get into Applause, but I love it now. It would be interesting to hear Adam's rendition if not a rumor. Regarding his tweet about ultranocturne: I was impressed that he started it out with a . so all of his followers could see it! I figured he was doing a friend a favor or maybe getting paid to promote it. The images were interesting to me. It reminds me of Adam's frequent proclamation early on- He is a VERY sexual person.... |
