I love that Adam is going to be a more edgy character on Glee, and that is what I am mostly taking away from all the rumors right now. I don't think that Adam would be a full time drag queen, because that would be too limiting both for the show as well as for Adam. But being cast in a performance and playing one on stage within an episode. Absolutely? Why not? As long as this is not the only storyline, I think it is totally cool.

Adam lives by the contrasts he is able to portrait, the different characteristics he has within him, that often are seen as contrasting or non-reconcilable. I think the best antidote to the 'guy-liner' stereotypes that have been portrayed in the media, is to play up the range of looks and personalities that we all love so much about Adam. Letting the wider public get to experience that is going to be beneficial and probably finally a step out of the box, that public perception has put him in.

The song choices, if they turn out to be true, also lean towards a somewhat edgier role. That would be great for Glee as well. I think the show needs to be taken out of the 'sweet' corner a bit and needs to have more controversy about it, if the show wants to up its audience again. And that does not mean creating controversy, ala idol last year, but rather by being relevant and meaningful to people. Adam can bring that to the party. He brought that to boring 7 year old idol in 2009. Give people something to talk about. Adam is brilliant at that.

Regarding LMD: Love the impact it seems to be having with a completely different audience. Could somebody please, please bring some 'twitter-bites' of that dialog with the BBC1 guy here. I am sure he is experiencing the full Glamhopper swarm right now, but I think we may want to retain a few good ones for the record. I thought that Radio Energy Music response was great. They don't get to converse with BBC1 every second either, so that is pretty funny actually.

I had to resort to retweeting all these to get them in one place to copy. 95% of these have no prior mention of Adam on their twitter pages. I mostly copied men also because it's a demo he needs to expand and it's heavily hit with this type of music.

I LOVE "Lay Me Down!" SO MUCH. I love what Adam is doing with his voice. It's so invitingly sexy---smooth and strong and passionate, low and then soaring in parts. And I love the lyrics and the music and especially the sound of Nile's guitar. And I love the way Avicii put it all together. Such an awesome, funky, dancey groove.

The first few times I heard the song, in muted recordings, I was mildly disappointed. I thought it wasn't distinct enough musically. It just seemed to blend and meld with the sound of other electronic dance music I was hearing. I thought it wasn't hooky enough. I really wished it were hookier. I'm laughing at myself now because it definitely hooked me.

After a couple of days of listening, I was singing "la la lay me down" everywhere, in spite of myself. The song is seductive! After about two weeks--or a full week before the AFTEE benefit concert---I realized that I was completely in love with the song. And when we got the high-quality 90-minute snippet I wore it out! Now the full CD version is on constant replay.

LMD makes me feel good. And like dancing. I can't sit still when I'm listening to it. Whenever I hear it, at some point, I'm swaying and spinning and twirling around (arms up) in my mind---and sometimes in reality. The song just makes me happy.

I'm so glad that so many new listeners (particularly those in the media) are loving it immediately! For others, I hope the song will have the same effect on them that it did on me. I really didn't expect to love it this much. It was like a slow burn. I think the pure joy dance element they somehow mixed with a smooth, chill vibe, a sultry sound, and more hypnotic hook gives it a slower burn rate and makes it perfect for constant radio play.

It's gonna be a smash! Nile said so. : ) I believe!

The writing and recording of LMD maybe wasn't two hours but it was definitely done in one very late night. In previous interviews Nile said he sent Avicii the recorded track in the morning and he was blown away. Adam got to the studio very late at night. So the whole thing could't have taken more than 6-8 hours, if even that.

Then if course, Avicii would have taken the recordings and done the production, mixing, etc unil he got what we now hear. WHICH IS AMAZING!!!!
