No one knows what this role is or how it will play out! Do any of you honestly think Adam or DMG is going to do anything to jeopardize his career??!!!! I have trust in Adam and his management!! I am intriqued by the mere fact that it could be true and wondering how it will be a twist! Because I know it will! How do I know? Because I have followed this man for 4 years and he is smart! And innovative! And knows what he wants! I know nothing about managing artist.. and I know nothing about marketing someone image.. I will leave it up to the expert. I trust that DMG & Adam knows what they're doing. I couldn't wait to see him on Glee. Double the trouble.. it will be interesting if there will be two roles for Adam, the black and white Adam... Better Than I know Myself??!!  |

I still don't understand why anyone who has Adam's best interest at heart would want him to dress like a woman on a television show that millions will see. I think the FYE album cover hurt him because he looked like a woman on it. Surely Glee didn't make a condition of his part that he dress like a woman. I don't like this. I'm not a pearl clutcher, thank you, and I hate the thought of it. Not good for his career or to expand his fanbase. I think it would shrink it. I get debates over what impact would result from Adam playing a drag queen or wearing drag on television - there are good pts made on both sides. But regarding ~shrinking his fanbase -- imho any fan who would stop being a fan for that reason falls under squarely good riddance. Agree. Although IMO most of the "easily offended" types left a long time ago. So the "worry" is about using GLEE as an opportunity to attract new fans... IDK what the GLEE demo is, but given the gay characters I hear about (I haven't watched the show) I assume the fans are open minded overall... so, I hope whatever Adam does will be well received and generate some "talk".... and the boy is SMART! It's going to be a WIN! |

But it's OK if everyone isn't on board with a drag theme. Whatever it is, I know Adam will not be dull. ![]() I know YOU are viv, but there are a few people on meltdown "it will ruin his career" mode! I just can't believe they have that little faith in Adam and DMG handling this right. |

I would tend to think the purpose of Glee was to expand his fanbase, rather than just cater to his existing fanbase. I for one think the drag is not a good move. Parents watch this show with their kids. I don't want TV's being clicked off and a round of negative press. things having been going so well for him. I have to trust a bitch and as Adam said, the rumor mill is rampant and we just have to wait and see. Personally I think MJ has a personal ulterior motive, and it is not good. So who and where is this good source, she supposedly has. She might be trying to fuel a fire, and not be happy with Adam being on Glee, so a bad rumor would definitely fuel a fire. I find it interesting that none of the other entertainment blogs/pubs picked up this MJ's "inside scoop" despite the real potential "juiciness".... what does this tell us? |

haribert - Let the glamhoppers eat cake!!! Geez, I am going to have to bake that cake this weekend. Adam says to "taste it up" in LMD. Guess I will have too.  The cake looks delicious. OK, I may be only one but I don't hear 'taste it up' ... I hear 'tasty love'. I hope Avicii has lyrics in his liner notes. |

I can't see Glee having Adam's character as a drag queen they have Alex who plays a transgender teen and is dressing up every week. They will be looking for something different unless it is a character in a broadway show.
