I would hate to see this.....and I really don't think his management would let it/want it. Glee is his big chance to get more mainstream acceptance, a younger and bigger fan base. And no, I'm not saying he should deny his sexuality at all. So much of following pop stars is based on their sexual attractiveness - drag queens have their fans but are a limited, niche market.
Edit: what Bailey said, more succinctly, above.....

Adam as a Drag-Queen? I think this would be the worst thing to happen. I am so happy for his Glee-appearance but as a Drag Queen -just NO!

The Lambrits @lambritsuk 2m RT @pressparty: BRIAN MAY says Queen, Lambert and Bowie collaboration would be "cool". mrkt.ms/15Tuzh9 Brian May says Queen, Lambert and Bowie collaboration would be "cool" Brian May has admitted that seeing both Adam Lambert and David Bowie sing with Queen would be "cool". The veteran British rock group are due to play once more with Lambert at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas later this month. Guitarist May took to Twitter to ask fans if there were any songs in particular they would like to see Queen and the 'Trespassing' star perform. Whilst 'Who Wants to Live Forever' was the most popular choice, it seems people have been pining for a David Bowie collaboration - and May is open that idea. He said: "About 90 songs got at least 1 vote, I think, in all. Amazing. But the winners were surprising to me. Well, THANKS! Keep suggesting! We'll have a think, and maybe throw in something surprising. I note a lot of desire out there for David Bowie to join us. T'would be cool." Referring to an incident last year where Lambert ripped his trousers on stage with Queen, May concluded: "And for Adam to split his pants. Well, that's showbiz ! ;-)." Bowie meanwhile previously collaborated with Queen for their iconic 1981 song 'Under Pressure'.

I, too, would prefer Adam to play himself, or a character that is very much like himself. I'd also like him to sing a bunch of current music. It would be lovely if he could sing some of his own music, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Adam and his management know what needs to happen. As they say, and make huge signs saying, at Burning Man, "Everything will be OK."
peace&love

I really don't think Adam would want to dress in drag, but he's always seemed to be up for anything when playing a role. (So that's a definite maybe. Lol) This is from the Adam Lambert Bibliography. Concerts, Performances and Recordings -> Adam - The Idol Era -> Adam Lambert Bibliography Page 16 #12 atop.proboards.com/post/89964/threadThis is Adam's coming out Rolling Stone cover and interview. 12. Grigoriadis, Vanessa. "The Liberation of Adam Lambert." Rolling Stone issue #1081, 25 June 2009: 52-57. www.vanessagrigoriadis.com/images/pdfs/lambert.pdfwww.mr-l.org/category/evergreens/text-of-rolling-stone-interview/atop.proboards.com/post/89964/thread Backstage at Idol, Lambert was out to everybody, but America wasn't completely clued in. Then, one day in March, pictures of him dressed in drag and tonguing his ex-boyfriend hit the internet. It was his fault: Before Idol, he took down his Myspace and Facebook pages but forgot to remove photos from his profile on Tribe.net, a social-networking community of Burning Man attendees. "I thought, 'Fuck, I'm screwed, possibly,'" he says. "Going into Idol, I assumed, 'OK, people are going to talk.' I mean, I've been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man, I've been at clubs, drunk, making out with somebody in the corner. But photographic evidence?" He shakes his head ruefully. "Didn't count on that. Wasn't ready for that." He was particularly nervous about the drag photos, worried that people might think it was his true nature. "I've only dressed in drag three or four times -- and of course I took pictures, because I looked amazing -- but I don't tuck and wear breasts, that's not me," he says. "Sucking my boy's face? Yes, that I will own."

UnrealityTV @unrealitytv 3m . @adamlambert blasts 'pesky' rumours as Brian May admits Queen, Lambert, David Bowie collaboration would be 'cool' wp.me/pCi4w-GWs Brian May has admitted he would love to see a collaboration between his band Queen, his pal Adam Lambert and legendary singer David Bowie. The Queen guitarist is set to take to the stage once more with American Idol’s Adam later this month, when they play at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas and it seems that he is already planning their set list. Lambert will take on the vocals of the late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and this week May asked his Twitter followers which songs they would like to see him and the ‘For Your Entertainment’ star take on at their upcoming gig. Many fans suggested the hit song ‘Who Wants to Live Forever’ but some also suggested a collaboration with Mercury Music Award nominee David Bowie and Brian replied: “Wow ! Thanks for a great and informative response to Queen/Adam Lambert songs you wanna hear. I’ll tell you what you voted for most ..” “About 90 songs got at least 1 vote, I think, in all. Amazing. But the winners were surprising to me. Well, THANKS! Keep suggesting! We’ll have a think, and maybe throw in something surprising. I note a lot of desire out there for David Bowie to join us. T’would be cool.” One of the last times that Adam took to the stage with Queen, he ripped his pants. It seems that Glamberts are pining for that to happen again and May teased: “And for Adam to split his pants. Well, that’s showbiz ! ;-) .” Meanwhile, Adam has been tweeting himself, hitting back at more untrue rumours surrounding his personal life. Lambert tweeted his fans yesterday saying: “Rumors are funny, pesky lil things.” He added: “What I’m sayin is- the rumor mill warps the facts. Be patient lil Glamhoppers: wait and see. Are you looking forward to seeing Adam sing with Queen again? Leave your comments below….
