EM.ES @sroczka79 'iHeart Radio festival returns to Vegas' @explasvegas www.usatoday.com/experience/las-vegas/article/iheart-radio-festival-returns-to-vegas/?id=2810053 … #travel #lasvegas If you're wondering why you can't find any pop music acts to see in your neck of the wood on September 20 and 21, it's because they're all playing the iHeart Radio music festival in Las Vegas. The Clear Channel event always brings the biggest names to MGM Grand Garden Arena every year, but this time they managed to go even bigger. Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Elton John headline the show, along with stars such as Tim McGraw, Bruno Mars, Tiësto, Muse, Maroon 5 and a special performance by legendary Queen + Adam Lambert. This year also introduces the iHeart Radio Music Festival Village, which jam packs even more acts into the daytime. On Saturday afternoon two more stages pop up at The Lot across the street from Luxor, and as anyone who's ever gone to a major music festival in Vegas knows – sometimes The Lot is where the real party is. The satellite show features a dozen more acts such as Pete Tong, Jason Derulo, The Wanted, Avril Lavigne and a special performance by Ne-Yo. The 15-acre area also includes fan zones, games and interactive experiences from iHeart Radio sponsors. The Festival Village also happens to be where Miley Cyrus will perform, and if the VMAs were any indication, she'll be one you won't want to miss. Hosted by media darling Ryan Seacrest, the concert event will be broadcast live on some 850 Clear Channel stations nationwide. Unfortunately the MGM Grand Garden Arena shows are sold out, but you still have chances to win if you tune into your local Clear Channel Station. Tickets to the Saturday performances at the iHeart Radio Music Festival Village are still available.

Sean Walsh is also part of Pulse Recordings which has its own studio. bonnie McKee and Oligee are also part of Pulse. While I have never expected Adam to go EDM (from his own words in an interview ) I don't expect him to be singing Sean Walsh style either. On last interview Lyndsey Parker asked him about EDM, I think he said (paraphrase) EDM is started to fizzle out a bit. So yeah.. I don't expect him to go EDM either.. but I'm wondering about 3 songs Adam, Nile and Avicii did in Hampton. Are they Rock & Roll, Disco or EDM or a bland of the three.

All the other names have been perform regularly so A special and very rare performance of Queen & Adam Lambert are what the music biz and media waiting for. I'm pretty sure most of music critics and bloggers are trying to be there for this performance... and that include the DJs for rock radio stations in the US. When can they see Brian & Roger on stage again and now they're performing with the ONLY singer who can actually take on those intimidating Queen catalogs with his range of vocal, his theatrics act on stage and his stage command. I'm not surprise if the QAL performance is the most anticipating one by even the organizer and the iHeartRadio family.

They dropped their bicycles and hurled themselves through the frame. Whatever the outcome, it would build upon the structure of their souls. They just knew. What happened inside cannot be explained. Their DNA was changed. They became followers of the creature from Planet Fierce - this was all they could say.momtomany.. this is awesome. I wanted to comment on the lyrics of Lay Me Down and the "lil glamhoppers" tweet of the other day. At first listen I thought the song was about a relationship.. a specific relationship.. and perhaps it is. But, the words, come within, cast your life, and we all weep, bleed the same, now wondering if again it has a double/triple meaning aimed towards the LGBT community, and moreover the community at large , us, his glamhoppers, that have been touched by this man. He went into this career wanting to make a better living at what he was born to do , instead has unexpectedly found himself in a leadership role, which it feels he is accepting more and more. He just needs the opportunity to learn more to be as big as we want him to be. All these collaborations give him that chances to learn. With these opportunity and his genius and creative mind, he is, IMO, can be the combination of Elvis, MJ and Freddie of this generations. Personal note and OT WARNINGS: I really want LMD to be as big if not bigger than WMU, so all those people who said Adam's not the real musician or not a good songwriter will eat their crow. Kris fans were so proud when his song was in Michael Morrison's album, but who's MM compare to Avicii and LMD is getting played around the world and at the worldwide stages. And the reviews around the world this song is getting? phew.. I'm moving on from the debacle 4 years ago, but I still cannot help but to show off

Review from Fuse TV We were already super excited for the September 17 release of Avicii's debut LP #TRUE, but the latest track to leak from the record, the funk-EDM hybrid "Lay Me Down," is making the wait even harder—yeah, it's that good. Centered around the Swedish DJ's fist-pumping EDM production, "Lay Me Down" features disco diva sass and wailing from Adam Lambert while Chic co-founder Nile Rodgers lays down ultra-crisp funk guitar licks. It's reminiscent of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," but with a higher BPM and slick studio production; you can boogie down to this track at both Studio 54 and Ultra Music Fest. Listen to "Lay Me Down" now! www.fuse.tv/2013/09/avicii-lay-me-down-adam-lambert-nile-rodgers

Queen @queenrockband 1m ‘I definitely paid my dues’ - @adamlambert Remembers His Difficult Path to Fronting Queen ★ queenrockband.blogspot.com/2013/09/i-definitely-paid-my-dues-adam-lambert.html … ‘I definitely paid my dues’: Adam Lambert Remembers His Difficult Path to Fronting Queen
Some of Adam Lambert’s staunchest fans tend to get defensive when his history in American Idol is mentioned — and not just because he finished second. The implication from detractors is often that Lambert, who’s getting ready for his U.S. debut this month with Queen, didn’t pay his dues. Far from it, counters Lambert — who worked as a singing waiter at corporate events, in retail and as a Starbucks server while trying to get his start in the music business. “If you rewind my 20s,” he says during this In Sixty clip, “I definitely paid my dues. I definitely lived a very unglamorous life.” Lambert was determined, long before he joined a group of Idol contestants often criticized as mere interpreters, to create music that showcased his own narrative voice. “I was doing a lot of theater stuff, but I was in the ensemble, always,” he adds. “I would never get hired beyond that. I was getting frustrated. I was getting to pay my bills, finally, but I don’t feel like I’m creating something. I had this hunger to make something.” That continues today, even while he’s established a parallel persona as Queen’s frontman. Lambert, in fact, issued his second album Trespassing — featuring nine of 12 co-written originals — last summer as he took part in a multi-show run with Brian May and Roger Taylor. Besides the above video, there's also a photo. Link: queenrockband.blogspot.com/2013/09/i-definitely-paid-my-dues-adam-lambert.html

whiteraverrafting.com/avicii-true-album-review/2013/09/13/#ixzz2enoyuRlBAvicii’s Debut Album ‘True’ Impresses On All Levels [Review] ............................ The moment may have very well been “Lay Me Down”, the disco pop collaboration between Avicii, Nile Rodgers and Adam Lambert. The funky Rodgers inspired rhythm pulsates through the track, but it’s not what defines “Lay Me Down”. It’s Lambert’s glam rock sound loaded with attitude that steals the song away. Lambert captures your attention early and refuses to let go. It doesn’t matter how similar the melody may be compared to “Wake Me Up”, this track is guaranteed to be win Tim Bergling and company a Grammy.
