Adam and Queen are a couple hours into rehearsal now sounds amazing. I don't want to give it out too early but I'll be giving song spoilers out before the show on Friday.  Are they in LA or Vegas? Do you work with Adam frequently? |

Thank you!!!  .. ohh.. can you also give out who's the special guest are? I am not going to give out any specific details until Friday afternoon till I'm done with this job. I don't want to get fired, but I will and I may also post a few pictures after iHeartRadio show is done. I will say this they've only rehearsed three songs that they performed together last year today only with Adam Oh wow, you must be so excited! Can you tell us if they're having fun with each other and if the atmosphere is light, or are they being totally professional? Does Adam seem happy? |

Not a couple million dollars but a lot of money. I do not know any performer who gets a couple of million dollars for a NYE performance. *** Katy Perry got her divorce tweet at a private party on NYE last year. I do not recall her performing anywhere. Lady Gaga was starting her promotion for Art Pop on NYE 2013 (12.31.13). She did the ball drop and then performed. You said Adam could make more money for one casino concert than five arena concerts. Adam has not played any arena concerts, so I can't really talk about how much money he ever made for five arena concerts. I'm using Katy as an example for one arena concert, and she could gross over a couple million dollars. Five concerts, over ten million. I don't know how much she would net from those. But then again, Adam never played in an arena, so it's hard to make a comparison. I still think it is a great gig, especially on NYE. I am talking net after expenses, what Adam gets. And I said 1 NYE casino show could equal what he would make from 5 Arena shows. I should have added, I was thinking about how the economics work in the US. ** If Adam was only interested in money (which he clearly is not), he could play Asia. ** Gross is not net to the artist. There are expenses. Lots of expenses. Some artists loose money on arena shows that gross a lot. Here is are a few examples: In 2012, Taylor Swift had the #1 tour in the world -- grossing $88.5 million in the U.S. alone, the tour netted Swift $29.8 million. Then she has to pay her team -- management, lawyers, etc. All said and done, sold out tour, she probably had $20 million before taxes. #16 moneymaker in the US -- Britney Spears grossed $21.7 million and netted $7.3 million. The Live Nation-sponsored Femme Fatale tour, her first concert endeavor in nearly two years, .... after visiting four continents for nearly 80 shows and culminating with revenue of $21.7 million. While Spears earned $7.3 million for her half-year on the road.... #40 moneymaker in the US -- Linkin Park grossed $7 million alone from 10 U.S. arena shows. I could not find net, but doubt they made much on these concerts. ** Adam has played a number of large shows -- and has played arenas. But he has not done an arena tour. |
