So is LMD getting more hype than other tracks on True? I believe it is a great song worth all of the kudos, but I realize I may have some bias and I exist in a bubble. Does Adam's management have anything to do with all of the coverage LMD is getting or does that lay with Avicii's team? Or is it truly organic? I am always interested in the nature of the business. (It is all pretty darn exciting.) Adam seems pretty excited, I am happy he is tweeting this achievement. Hey, we got a couple of great pics today too! Love the Giorgio's shot. And Adam's interpretation of ArtPop! I believe the song itself and the names of the collaborations (Avicci, Nile & Adam) that causing the hype. Just like when RMurphy announcing Adam & Glee that causing huge hype around the world. The most referenced in order are...based on Google news and searches: #1 Wake Me Up (Avicii's biggest hit ever) #2 You Make Me (Current single, on the iTunes top 100 in about 50 countries. #4 in UK) <non-singles> #3 LMD (#1 non-single track for news mentions and search) #4 Hey Brother (18% fewerreferences than LMD) Hey Brother is slightly ahead in track sales -- but that should reverse in the US and Canada.

I smell a contract with IDJ. Barry Weiss, has a lot of influence and loves Adam. I have not seen anything that indicates that there is anything going on between Adam and Island. "Love" does not enter into contract deals; Barry knows to focus on the money. Anything Island-DJ is doing right now is designed to sell Avicii's album. Nile was the matchmaker and brought in Adam on the Avicii project. And, the buzz and sales for LMD are small compared to the press mentions and sales for the second single, You Make Me. I am not being negative, just trying to maintain perspective. When you only look online for marmots you see them everywhere and miss all the rabbit and cat references.

After listening to the AVICII interview:Adam , Nile and Tim all seem to be loose with facts. Collaborating is a team effort....but I wanted it black and white...not blurred lines ??? ...silly me
I wonder if we will ever know exactly what Adam contributed or refined in LMD. Just glad he is getting paid for whatever he did contribute. When we were questioning the composition OF LMD in the thread...Adam twittered he was called up to write lyrics. So my guess now is after listening to Tim.... Adam did not write all the lyrics but helped /modified/collaborated on the already started lyrics. Tim reports "When we already finished writing the melody and almost all the lyrics"..." needed someone to put it down/ so we would remember the lyrics/the song".....
When members said ...no Adam did the lyrics, I certainly admit to saying in a past post that I thought the lyrics sounded just like what Adam would write as I remembered there was an interview when he said that he likes it when someone says nice things to him and kisses him a lot. ..and the thread discussion followed up with the youtube of this interview in Australia. The lyrics fit so well with his own "feelings". To add to the confusion of what actually happened.... I thought Nile said Tim had left the studio and Nile called up Adam (which Tim confirms in the interview) and Nile convinced Adam to come in in spite of the hangover. Now Tim is saying, he did...what??? I think I believe Nile!(Tim said in the interview....."He (NILE) called up Adam".....then Tim goes on to say..... "I (TIM) was like.... no you have to come down now"....) Oh the storytelling....

Good morning. Read from the bottom up.
MENTALLY ILL VAGRANT chunkeymonkey81 23m @shoshannastone @2dianic looks like the mommy patrol is on duty!! Remind him to floss and eat his veggies! Lmao ( :-Xmy comment!)
shoshanna stone @shoshannastone 44m @2dianic he's a pop star!
Ereshkigal @2dianic 1h@shoshannastone It makes it sound like he was being irresponsible about his job, rather than he made an extra effort because he was asked. Ereshkigal @2dianic 2h@shoshannastone Shit. The story's turning into "Adam went to work hung over" instead of "Adam got called in unexpectedly and stepped up"
