Adam’s character WILL NOT BE A DRAG QUEEN. There will be NO performances in drag.
Drag was the original plan for Adam’s character, but at his request, the character will be rewritten. Adam met with the Glee writers/producers this week to discuss the changes.
Also, Adam won’t be singing Lady Gaga’s “Judas,” also at his request. However, he’s still set to perform “Applause.”
Production on Adam’s first episode, 5×04, begins next week.
And that’s all I got.It's interesting that no other media picked up this so called major "scoop". Anything and everything Adam related gets picked by the media and all we got was dead silence. I'm still very skeptical about this "source" that only she had. Sooner or later Adam will reveal if this was true. For now I still call BS. you know - I have no doubt the whole thing was just misinformation, either on the part of her "source" or her own creation... smells like trolling... |

And that’s all I got.I'm not surprised. Adam has said several times that he's not into drag -- he only dressed up a few times for Halloween. So, I was having hard time believing that he would want to play this role. And he seems mighty attached to his 'tache. It looks like that thing is staying firmly attached to his upper lip. Lol. It will be interesting to see what Ryan Murphy and the writers come up with on such short notice. |

I think Adam was smart to request a rewrite of his Glee character. While seeing him do drag would be kind of fun and his current fans would enjoy it, I think a lot of people who only know of him as that guy from Idol who wore makeup would probably jump to the conclusion that Adam does drag all the time. Also, I thought Judas is a monotonous (literally!) song that doesn't do justice to his vocal abilities.
On another note, I'm JELLUS of all you guys going to see Adam on Friday and on NYE! I'm hoping for good videos from both shows!

It just seems that if this was a legit source, other media outlets would have picked up on this major "scoop". I have learned to just go with the flow when it comes to Adam, but this rumor never felt right. j |

To be fair, MJ posts a lot of accurate spoilers about Glee -- and not all of them are in wide media distribution. I think she does have an inside track on some things about the show. And Ryan Murphy has been known to change roles and scripts, even after details have been announced. Finally, DMG and Adam are smart -- they probably negotiated script approval. So, this story may very well have been true. |

I don't think the rumor was ever true. How could he have met with Ryan this week. Did he meet from Vegas? If it was true others bloggers would have picked up on it

Biizarre. Could this be true - it was the plan, but Adam requested it not be the plan, and - somehow - only one blogger had and has this much inside info about it all . . . I don't know, I just don't know . . . Seems weird, but Making all that up would be pretty weird too . . . I think it just meant that the so called trusty source's gave MJ a bad spoilers and now this person has to track back his/her track and told her that originally that was the plan but at Adam's request.. blah.. blah.. blah. It's possible there's never a plan about drag thing for Adam. |
