If the original rumor was true, then I'm so glad Adam requested a rewrite. I think playing a drag queen would not benefit his career in any possible way, in fact, I think it would do harm. Glad it's not happening.

Biizarre. Could this be true - it was the plan, but Adam requested it not be the plan, and - somehow - only one blogger had and has this much inside info about it all . . . I don't know, I just don't know . . . Seems weird, but Making all that up would be pretty weird too . . . I think it just meant that the so called trusty source's gave MJ a bad spoilers and now this person has to track back his/her track and told her that originally that was the plan but at Adam's request.. blah.. blah.. blah. It's possible there's never a plan about drag thing for Adam. I kinda agree with you there. Or another way of looking at it is... its not good info if the source is releasing info about unapproved scripts. It could have been a concept batted around by writers, but it doesn't met count for much if its just talk.

Either her source is unreliable and is totally back peddling , or somehow Adam, the complete newbie on the set, somehow has the power to tell ryan murphy what to do. I know which of these two things I believe is more likely.

i agree, I don't really go to MJs anymore but the whole thing seems odd, almost makes it sound like adam is disagreeable to what the producers want to do. weird

koshka, leaking an unapproved script could be one of many possibilities. Avary, you've got a point there

The tweeter Nasus is confused. Wake Me Up is #6 on overall Itunes, and #1 in Dance; Lay Me Down is #54 overall and still #6 in Dance. I think some folks are getting confused by the fact that Wake Me Up is listed twice on Itunes -- as a single and as an album track. The single was released before the album, and is listed as "Wake Me Up - Single". The album track is listed as "Wake Me Up - True". Lay Me Down is higher than "WMU - True", but is still lower than "WMU - Single". Is that clear, or did I just make it worse? Lol. Good try but I think they are referring to the 2nd single which is You Make Me. LMD is higher than that. That's why they said, "Should have been the single" Lots of people were surprised LMD was not the 2nd single. Actually, it appears to be someone looking only at the US. BUT YMM is not a single in North America. Where it has been released as a single, it is outselling LMD. From KORB.net ...... I left out WMU which is clearly the top selling track/single and the list of countries is too long to post Number of Countries | Lay Me Down | You Make Me (2 tracks)

Yes. I was released for sale the last week of August. It has not gone for radio adds yet. I am guessing, it won't. I think it might be just for internationl radio since they were ready for it and the US would not be ready for a new single until mid Oct, at the earliest. By mid to late Oct, internationally they will be ready for single #3! Hopefully, LMD! Now that is logical.. honestly. I was wondering what they would do with You Make Me. I don't think it would do well as a US single and it doesn't look like its burning up the International charts. It would make sense to skip it here. Got an opinion about any other possible singles off the album (competition with LMD for slot #3)? Hey Brother, which seems to be another favorite, just seems to run in the same vein as Wake Me Up. My non-expert opinion is that even though Hey Brother is selling well, it'd be a mistake to have it be the next single. It would firmly plant him as a Folk/EDM producer. I think he needsto appeal more to his EDM fans, while at the same time, making it current and funky.... as the Pharrell and Nile collabs have been with Daft Punk. And with all the buzz it has gotten, LMD is the perfect choice! The one wild card is I know nothing about how Tim thinks. Plus there is that manager, Ash, who seems to control a lot. But my impression is they like to do different things and he has pushed this album as eclectic. So, again, LMD is perfect!
