Can we really believe MJ about Adam and the drag situation? To me if this is true it is sad that he had to negotiate not doing drag, and not singing Judas. Why could he not have sung one of his own songs. But who am I, I don't know the story line, and can this make him look difficult. He was asked to be on the show, then negotiates what he will and will not do. This doesn't always bode well. Not trying to be Debbie downer or negative, but looking for some insight and input from y'all. Sometimes what is is... just saying.. personally all I care about is that my e mails,TWEETS & hopes to have Adam on Glee have been answered.. "Why look a gift horse in the mouth?"

smokey, to me it all just depends on Adam's contract. Apparently he has a contract that allows him to have at least some power and control over his role -- probably the same or similar contract that other famous guests on this show have had. No one who was already a "name" would want to have their image entirely in the hands of script writers, however well-intentioned.

Not trying to be Debbie downer or negative, but looking for some insight and input from y'all. I really see nothing bad about the situation. Guest stars (even those on for several episodes) I imagine have more say in their appearance than most regular stars. Think about it like this, guest stars are a form of buzz for the show. If it gets out that guests are at the complete mercy of the writers or producers, having no say in how they are portrayed, it might influence future guests' decisions about appearing. I would be very surprised if Adam didn't have the right to make changes. I would also posit that making changes like this isn't really a big deal on a show like Glee. These are not scripts which someone spent months, lovingly typing into prose. They are rushed out products of barely controlled chaos, often lacking in subtly, depth or even continuity. The writers have to be ready for changes, even in mid production. Television history is filled with last minute rewrites where a character is suddenly killed off, or saved, forcing a reworking on all future scripts in production. If they weren't prepared for Adam possibly asking for a change, then they aren't worth their salt as writers on a show. So, don't feel bad. This is honestly just part of the normal routine.

SO, overall, our boy's life is this: 1) have a high charting song with no label chains around his neck 2) front Queen at the huge important radio festival, headlining the evening 3) appear on GLEE 4) have the freedom of writing his own music 5) have a NYE gig at the world's second largest casino = HUGE $$$$
