And it's an Associated Press article, so it'll be reprinted everywhere! LOL, the Twitter account for Island Records responded to Avicii that "Lay Me Down" is their favorite track from True. |

well regarding someone who posted it intially...Adam was singing with Nate and Queen on Fat Bottomed Girls...and that 6/7 songs were with Adam (if we read the clues right) so don't fret! Thanks, talon. |

Thanks, talon. Another source has confirmed to me via email (I cannot post it) that Adam is on all but 1 song -- STL which will feature Nate. I am very excited that Adam will also be with fun. It puts him with a classic rock act and a contemporary pop-rock act closing the first night of the biggest concert in the world. Plus, having listened to LMD 10,000 times now, I know it will be a single, maybe #3 or the #4 so it is Spring Summer 2014, it will be a hit. It will be a big hit. Dance usually tracks do best over the summer -- released in Spring. "Get Lucky" was released in April 2014. Also, I was skeptical if it was released to US and Canada radio that it might not be so well received. EDM has just not been very successful in US, Canada and Japan. GL really broke the ice here. Clear Channel has an experimental EDM Radio station in the US. They are working on developing a format that will work here. But the combo of GL and WMU has really shown that EDM belongs on Pop radio. I am surrendering to the music. LMD headed to a chart near you. *** I will not be surprised if UMG decides NOT to promote YMM in the US. And just go to the next single here. |
