To me Adam is playing to a huge mixed crowd and this will give him some new people to see how amazing he is and hopefully lookup his music. To me it is all good nothing negative about this.  |

Looks like she responded at the pink place, and implies Shoshanna, as a publicist, may be bending the truth to put Adam in a better light. Well, she has a point. That is kind of what a publicist does. We will never know what went down, and the fact is, it really doesn't matter. The inside source probably just had it wrong---what I don't understand is how a faction of this fanbase (not necessarily on this site) is practically gleeful and gloating over it. |

Have faith, ![]() when has Adam ever failed to impress.. nobody puts baby in the corner. I don't know how many performances Adam has given since AI. If we count the AI summer concert tour, GNT, his overseas tour this year, the QAL gigs, Divas, Nile Rodgers shows, misc. TV performances, - probably well over 200... Many of us here have watched just about every one (some multiple times). Has he ever failed to put on a first class performance? When I think about it, it is absolutely amazing. To quote Nile, "Someday the world will realize...." Maybe this is the time!  :-) Always love hearing this positive thoughts when I'm having fears. And yes, you are all right about that! I want jaws to drop:-))) |

I guess you are in Pacific time Talon. For Eastcoasters they will be performing at 3.00am. I don't know how I will be able to stay awake. I might have to annoy my husband and set the alarm for 2.45am  No I am on the East Coast! I'm working 1045pm-2:45 am east coast time...which is why if the rumors are true and they go on at 12am PST (3am EST) then I *MIGHT* be able to zoom home and catch it...and then go back to work at 645am. Ugh.  Yahoo Music has a live stream and can do the time diff. clock on internet. Good Luck. |

I have weird impression that we, as Adam's fans, are trying to "own" Queen like we are trying to "own" Lay Me Down which is not Adam's song a never will be. And IMHO this is not good thing. Agree - it sometimes feels that way. Yeah I would have said this earlier if I'd known how to word it |

The other thing to consider about the songs with Nate - the harmonies on FBG could be a treat (wanted to say fun, but...). And STL, without Adam, will likely give Adam a chance to give his voice a little break. My guess it will occur somewhere in the middle of the set. j/s

Wow, I think it is incredibly disrespectful toward Adam to have Nate sing a song during the Queen + Adam Lambert set. Yes, this is my personal humble opinion. That seems to me like a slap in the face. Whether they think it is or not, that is what they have done. It absolutely is a way of treating a singer that sends a message of lesser value. How to put a singer "in his place." See how interchangeable our singers are? See how we can have anyone we want because we are queen and ALL the singers are replaceable. Sorry, this is exactly how I did not want Adam treated. It is sleazy of them to do that IMHO. Adam deserves better. He deserves to be treated with due respect. It is not up to ADam to say anything. It would be up to his label/managers/whomever to protect him from things like this. To fight for him. How did this happen? I realize a lot of people are going to say I'm over reacting but things like this do NOT send the message we want for Adam. It is not about ownership it's about R.E.S.P.E.C.T. All I'm askin' is for a little... Don't put Queen + Adam Lambert and then add... I understand your feelings,I feel upset too.The thing is that Queen said all along that they would have other surprise guests..So It's not like this wasn't planned and Adam certainly knew if we knew. IMHO,Adam is a team player and loves to share the stage(stage kid),so we're probably upset and he's having fun with the whole thing.. |

I would echo personal thoughts that are along the lines of what has been posted. I'm a positive see the glass half full person, but I can't help but feel like this does steal some of the limelight away from Adam. There will be a soundbite, and what will it be, Adam&Queen or Nate& Queen. it's the nature of the media. I was hoping the special guest would be a female, singing with Adam & Queen - Katy, Jessie J (who by the way is teamed up with Robin Thicke now for an upcoming show in the DC area). OK, I got that off my chest. Will be tuning in on livestream.

Skylar/Melliemom... Must admit I had this thought cross my mind. I had hopes the guest/s would be for say, We Are the Champions with a bunch of people coming on stage for the ending type of thing. I do hope STL will be in the middle, and if Adam has a costume change that would make it more palatable... Will be interesting to see how it all plays out...
