I like Fun and the lead singer. TBH, I do think he sounds better on his records than he did when I heard him on award shows. But I hope he does great. I love Adam and I KNOW he will do great on all the other songs. I think iit is obvious that Brian and Roger like and respect Adam very much.

I think you're not ALONE here! I also want him to show off STL in Vegas.. but whatever All of us are greedy. and wand Adam to sing everything (5 hours would be great!).. but look at the bright side: Adam now has a new friend and admirer - Nate from Fun. (How do I know this? ....simple historical extrapolation ) yes, the networking opportunities are endless...

I would echo personal thoughts that are along the lines of what has been posted. I'm a positive see the glass half full person, but I can't help but feel like this does steal some of the limelight away from Adam. There will be a soundbite, and what will it be, Adam&Queen or Nate& Queen. it's the nature of the media. I was hoping the special guest would be a female, singing with Adam & Queen - Katy, Jessie J (who by the way is teamed up with Robin Thicke now for an upcoming show in the DC area). OK, I got that off my chest. Will be tuning in on livestream. Have you seen the press Adam has gotten for LAY ME DOWN?? for his fright wig , his club outings or his Glee notices. The man is a press magnet.. Gosh I'm feeling some threshold anxiety,I feel this for others on stage. I actually get stage fright when I'm in the audience. Adam is cool though,He loves this stuff and the media seems to love him.. All will be fine .. I mean let's face it Adam has been on the stage since he was 9/10.. He lives and breathes this and I do believe he loves to share the experience. As far as Queen folks ,what a wealth of information and experience, as far as the record world, they probably shared with Adam as well as sharing their beloved music with him... they are great friends in my book.

Wow, I think it is incredibly disrespectful toward Adam to have Nate sing a song during the Queen + Adam Lambert set. Yes, this is my personal humble opinion. That seems to me like a slap in the face. Whether they think it is or not, that is what they have done. It absolutely is a way of treating a singer that sends a message of lesser value. How to put a singer "in his place." See how interchangeable our singers are? See how we can have anyone we want because we are queen and ALL the singers are replaceable. Sorry, this is exactly how I did not want Adam treated. It is sleazy of them to do that IMHO. Adam deserves better. He deserves to be treated with due respect. It is not up to ADam to say anything. It would be up to his label/managers/whomever to protect him from things like this. To fight for him. How did this happen? I realize a lot of people are going to say I'm over reacting but things like this do NOT send the message we want for Adam. It is not about ownership it's about R.E.S.P.E.C.T. All I'm askin' is for a little... Don't put Queen + Adam Lambert and then add... I understand your feelings,I feel upset too.The thing is that Queen said all along that they would have other surprise guests..So It's not like this wasn't planned and Adam certainly knew if we knew. IMHO,Adam is a team player and loves to share the stage(stage kid),so we're probably upset and he's having fun with the whole thing.. Adam will be an utter gentlemen and shine without a shade of a doubt. I haven't been staying up to date on all the messages that Queen is sharing the stage with other guests... Just makes me feel a little less respect for Queen. Makes it that little bit more of a ho down. Not that it will be less entertaining. "Life is like a box of chocolates...."

Seeing it seems like Adam and mr FUN are going to be in close proximity vocally come tomorrow I thought people might be interested in a bit of comparative analysis that Cassie did when I asked her about him a while ago. You can read full post here: www.adamtopia.com/post/192899

Yes, this is all positive. But I do think it lessens how at least some of the audience will view adam's lead singer role tomorrow. His role is diminished a bit, and Fun already has another set... now, I would love for Adam to come in and sing on Katy Perry's set. that would be awesome.

I personally would rather hear Adam sing STL than FBG any day - FBG is my least fav of the Queen songs Adam sang. STL is in my top 5 of Queen songs! But I remember that Adam did not sing that one at least one of nights in London last year (Queen did it without him) - so maybe it's not a favorite of Adam's?
I think we did sort of have quasi confirmation (from our trusty spoiler person) that he would sing TSMGO - I think someone was worried we wouldn't get that?
Of course I was disappointed to hear Adam would only sing 6 songs (maybe 7 now??!!hope) - since I am paying more money per song to hear this live than I care to admit to anyone, and of course I would prefer that if others were singing with Queen, that Adam would be included also, but I am pretty happy with so many things: They have the LONGEST set They are CLOSING the show Adam sings all but 1 song with Queen Adam gets to duet with someone new (who is popular)
Overall, I'm very happy!

Well, another way to look at it is Adam is included in more . . . Singing not just with Queen (in tihe "classic rock" box) but with Fun, too (in the contemp pop box) . . . Or, like on the RR Hall of fame award shows, great musicians and singers unexpectedly paired for one of a kind musical moments . . . That really is how I see it. (OR, maybe Brian and Roger read the "cool grandfather" comment and said, "Let's call Fun . . . ")

Not sure where the disrespect angle comes in. I actually think it's more respectful the way they are doing it. With multiple guests Queen very easily could have gone on as Queen (with special guests). But they didn't. They are highlighting that Adam is singing with them and that there are others helping. I don't think Queen has shown anything but utter respect for Adam. Some Queen fans not so much but the band has never been disrespectful to Adam in my opinion.
