Okay, I've been thinking this Nate thing over and, since we really don't know how this was all arranged, I'm going with the idea that Adam is really pleased to share the stage. He has been very adamant in letting everyone know that he is pleased to perform with Queen but he is NOT their new lead singer. By sharing the stage, this point is driven home -- "look guys, I'm putting my spin on these songs and I'm glad to do it but it's just for tonight." Hopefully, Nate and Adam are gracious with each other and it becomes a memorable performance. We know from past performances that Adam is a very gracious stage presence. It will all be good. I'm surprised that we haven't discussed in depth what he'll be wearing! I think the leather vest from Pittsburgh Pride -- he has that new tattoo and all that he'll want to show off. eta: geez, Cassie beat me to it

I'm very excited about tomorrow's concert. I get a few goosebumps anticipating the moment Adam first walks out on stage, the moment the first sounds come from his mouth. Anticipating all the energy and extravaganza of the set. I know he'll be amazing. And some of the songs may be repeats, but the atmosphere, circumstances, crowd and opportunity to impress will be all new! It's like a shot of adrenaline just thinking about it. And what will he wear?!?! And, hey, sometimes a little comparison under a big spotlight is a good thing (no disrespect meant to any other singer). Off to read Cassie's analysis. I'm also still hopeful for another surprise or two---and maybe an all-star jam at the end. Now that would be fun! Also wondering if maybe Queen will be inspired by the rock show they went to see with Adam in Vegas last night (maybe they were partly checking the situation out?) to accept a similar short-term residency (twelve shows over a three-week period). Rog and Brian might LOVE Vegas in the winter!! Twelve shows over a three period?! Can you even imagine?!

Seeing it seems like Adam and mr FUN are going to be in close proximity vocally come tomorrow I thought people might be interested in a bit of comparative analysis that Cassie did when I asked her about him a while ago. You can read full post here: www.adamtopia.com/post/192899I guess the audience in MGM and at home will be able to compare these two voices side by side tomorrow for the west coast and Saturday morning for us in East when they perform together on FBG. I just wish that Adam will not hold things too much when he's on stage with mr. FUN. That remind me.. ohMy, were you there when they did their FBG rehearsal? What do you think about mr. Fun's vocal?

Any word on the 8th song - if it's in or not? I know I'm a minority of one here so don't kill me but I was hoping for a Brian or Roger led song...I won't be crushed without one and don't expect one but would love to see it

Not sure where the disrespect angle comes in. I actually think it's more respectful the way they are doing it. With multiple guests Queen very easily could have gone on as Queen (with special guests). But they didn't. They are highlighting that Adam is singing with them and that there are others helping. I don't think Queen has shown anything but utter respect for Adam. Some Queen fans not so much but the band has never been disrespectful to Adam in my opinion.

Queen and Adam soundchecking now at MGM Arena I see this as a huge opportunity for Adam. The association with Queen has been great, with few die-hard purists raising the roof, after the European and London shows. This is exposure on a huge stage and definitely a win-win scenario for Adam. After checking out fun's videos I don't see any competition with Adam and after all he does have experience with Queen. This will re-introduce Adam's vocal prowess on a world-wide stage and hopefully bring more opportunities with regard to his own music. Sure, just Adam and Queen is the perfect world, but we get to see Adam perform with Queen at a major event, which has to garner him more fans. We won't be disappointed in any way. In fact feel sorry for the other guy singing, he may be good, but Adam is more than that on all levels.
