I too am very excited about Adam/Queen at the iHeart Festival tomorrow night. I agree with you, Minnie, that this is a win-win scenario for Adam, and to me it is very much like the EMA's where a new audience will experience the glory that is Adam and will be blown away. I want people to be speechless, just like it was for me the first time I saw him live.
I wish so much that I could be there, but his exposure to a whole new audience makes me happy inside, and I know those of you who are fortunate to be attending will be sending your love and karma his way - just as all the rest of us will be doing from our homes.
And Misha, your idea of a short-term residency at Vegas for Queen sounds like a winner! - Hope it comes to pass!
And finally, I'm so glad Adam has been booked at Winstar for New Years Eve. Lately he's had a few performances on the East Coast and West Coast, but nothing in Mid-America for some time now - so for those of you in the middle of the country, it's your turn now! Enjoy - you deserve it! |

I need translation. What does "feature on an album" mean? How does it differ from writing and vocal credit? Means the names of the vocalists are not listed on the album with the name of the song, only in the credits. I can sort of understand that as a lot of people are treating LMD like an Adam song, not Avicii song. I hope it will not make him change his mind about making it a single.Interesting right? It would be kind of hard not to make it a single when everybody is saying it's the best song on the album. Also you have Adam Lambert and a musical legend featured on your song it's kind of hard for U.S. media to ignore that. Does anyone in the U.S even know the other artists? Also what's interesting is he cuts out Dan's vocals from the lead singer of Imagine Dragons who happens to be very hot right now. |

Well, another way to look at it is Adam is included in more . . . Singing not just with Queen (in tihe "classic rock" box) but with Fun, too (in the contemp pop box) . . . Or, like on the RR Hall of fame award shows, great musicians and singers unexpectedly paired for one of a kind musical moments . . . That really is how I see it. (OR, maybe Brian and Roger read the "cool grandfather" comment and said, "Let's call Fun . . . ") Lol I winced when Adam said that about Brian and Roger knowing they might see the comment .. :  I also thought that was funny as parents would be closer to the age difference. |

Selena Gomez won't be performing in Russia any time soon. She has been denied entrance to the country for her pre-scheduled shows as part of an effort to tighten restrictions on artists who support gay rights. more... what a tragedy going on in Russia...(I mean in general, not Selena's concert) On a smaller scale I am happy Adam had a couple of concerts there so Russian Adam fans had a chance to see him...who knows when the next time will come now....

It could mean the artists doesn't get credit if the song becomes a hit. Let's say the song goes to #1 that would exclude Adam from getting credit for having a #1 song. That's why when you go and purchase the song only Avicc's name you'll see instead of "lay Me Down" - Avicii ft. Adam Lambert & Nile Rodgers. It could also effect royalties paid to Adam but I'm not sure about this. Thank you, stardust and Daenerys! A bit of a downer, ain't it? How can this be a downer when we see how much press and praise has come to Adam because of this record? The album is an instant world wide hit! As a co-writer he will benefit monetarily, but whether he is "featured" or not, a few gazillion people know who it is singing. This month is win win win win......win win win...  |
