Given the day is a Queen + AL day, I thought while you were waiting you might want to take a listen to a new song from Roger's upcoming solo release (in November now) www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03b2vrfIt debuted on the Chris Evans Show in the UK and it is about 1 hour and 7 minutes in...it's called "Sunny Day" (I usually keep this stuff to the Queen thread but figured on a day where Queen and AL play together why not )

4Msrmyn - great list for Starship. This one rings all kinds of bells for me and I foresee a Nile cameo for funk night ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lcw5U5kRRroWhen we were all discussing funk ages ago, I posted a Bootsy Collins YT as an example and he is the bassist here. Funk is so current right now and it could be a lead in to A3. Fantasies are now rampant in my head. I also love Q3's glamrock tie-in, so I will also add that to my fantasy collection. Starchild is perfect - so Glittery Alien from Planet Fierce. PS - Drag queen did not even cross my mind when I heard the name but then again, I am a child of the 60s.

www.unrealitytv.co.uk/american-idol/fun-s-nate-ruess-join-adam-lambert-queen-heres-theyre-singing/Fun.’s Nate Ruess to join Adam Lambert & Queen & here’s what they’re singing!September 20th, 2013 by Lisa McGarry. Adam Lambert has been in rehearsals all week for his upcoming performance with Queen at the iHeartRadio Festival but it looks like he won’t be carrying Freddie Mercury’s mantle all alone. The American Idol star has performed with the legendary British band on numerous occasions previously and this weekend he will sing with them once more, however at their planned gig the group will also be joined by incredible vocalist Nate Ruess. The Fun frontman was spotted rehearsing with Brian May and his gang yesterday and Billboard reports that the singer will join Queen and Adam when they take to the stage at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas later this evening. What a treat! Better still we even know at least two of the songs they will all be performing, as Nate was heard crooning along to the hit Queen tracks “Somebody to Love” and “Fat Bottomed Girls”. It’s not yet known how many songs Adam etc will perform, but they have been allocated the longest set and their segment will run for 35 minutes, more time than was given to Lady Gaga, Fun, Elton John or Justin Timberlake, so it’s quite the honour. more.. video link: Adam Lambert with QUEEN - Bohemian Rhapsody (Kiev)
