I'm still trying to understand the point of seeing a DJ live--playing recorded music. I don't get it yet. The DJs are not just playing recorded music. A band has a song with parts written for each instrument and vocal and they could play that song exactly the same way every time so that each concert sounded exactly the same but they don't. They improvise and respond to their mood and the crowd. A DJ has a song with distinct synth components and if those components are combined exactly the same way each time, then the concert will sound exactly the same. But it doesn't because they also improvise according to their mood and the crowd. It is sort of an old-timey one-man band, but hella more complex. That explanation does help, so thank you  The problem for me is that when I go to a concert I want to not only be stimulated by the music, but also visually as well (think floorbert for instance...lol) and watching a dude in a box twiddling knobs, just doesn't do it for me. However, the world is a big place and there is plenty of room for different tastes and whatever floats your thingses. It's all good. |

I was hoping Adam would b tweeting; I'm sure he's watching the show. It would b great if he gave a "shout-out" to Muse esp they gave him Soaked and he sang Starlight.
Yeah Misha, Muse and Queen + Adam would have been da-bomb!!

Yeah, I just woke up in Finland to listen to a concert in the US via a radio station in Brasil.
