But she said they just had the conversation, my impression's that OhMy didn't actually heard that they did KQ in rehearsal. How does Brian think it won't be perfect? Or maybe he think the song is not perfect for the night or for the rest of the set? Because they didn't have enough time to rehearse it. They haven't done the song since 1985. He's not going to go out in a festival like this without more time to rehearse something like that...especially if they haven't prepared. If they had talked about a few weeks back and the rest of the band rehearsed it, then Brian would be more apt to give it a shot...This sounds more like it was a last minute suggestion (probably from Adam) Roger would have been more likely to say screw it let's go for it... It's so funny reading you describing Brian & Roger character's, because the perfectionist Brian is a match to the perfectionist Adam .. LOL. Adam can be very perfectionist about his performance .. but on the other hand Adam can be Roger as well. Spontaneous and just jammin. |

I got to see Billy/Elton twice. GREAT shows. First time Billy blew Elton away, the second time it was the other way around. Great gigs though both...I also have seen Billy on his own quite a few times and Elton once or twice (one of which he did Show Must Go On which was awesome) Ok officially jealous... Billy Joel was one of the soundtracks of my college days and for a change with Adam gigs I will be sitting at my computer with a glass of wine in daylight instead of a cup of tea and a blanket wrapped around me in the wee hours. |

That's all I know Thank you once again! |

Do ya'll think Elton will hang around and watch Adam & Queen perform! I get chills just thinking about it!!!! On the iHeart website, Elton talked about Bruno, about how talented he is and can really sing. He didn't mention Adam at all. I think Elton knows how good Adam is.  Elton and Queen + Adam performed in Kiev last year, remember? Also, Elton has said complimentary things about Adam in the past -- I think he may have first seen Adam on American Idol. And Adam was at Elton's Oscar party a few years ago, so their paths have crossed several times. |

Elton is still awesome. I saw him in concert here when in my late teens and just after he released Yellow Brick Road and he looked like this when he first came on stage.  lol... and people think Adam is OTT *snorts* OMG!!!!!!! I so would have loved that!!!!!! And, I'm *snorting* along with you...hahahahahahaa!! |

Pretty much any of the classic era guys can take the younger artists to school when it comes to live performances. There is a lot to be said for having done the miles. The one concert I am always bummed I never got to see was Elton and Billy Joel. Yeah...I would have loved to have seen them together. I saw the tour Elton and Billy Joel did together a few years ago. They were so good! I think they've had a falling out again recently, though . Enjoyed Elton's set tonight, too!
