Quick story re Queen and Adam - girlfriend worships Freddie, he is her favorite male singer and loves Queen. When they played their last round of gigs I sent her video of Adam doing WWTLF and she emailed me back that it gave her chills and though she hated to say it Adam sang it better than Freddie (huge for her to say that). Not that I think he did - different isn't better, but got to say Adam's version does give me chills as it one of my all time favorite Queen songs from movie I've always loved (Highlander). So glad it is in the set tonight - will be quite something for audience to hear that live. It's hard to compare WWTLF for Adam & Freddie, since Freddie had never performed it live. If I remembered correctly Brian said he's even too sick to sing it in the studio or the music video, but he still managed to belt it out. Agree though, different isn't better.. especially in the context of Freddie and Adam. You are thinking of TSMGO, not WWTLF. Freddie has done WWTLF live. His version is on YT but I can't access it right now on my iPad. |

ErrrUmmmm... interesting shirt!! HOT HOT HOT!! And, I love the shirt!!!!!! But, then, I really like off the wall clothes. Learned it from my awesome Mom!! Miss her...she would have totally loved Adam. No doubt about that. So sorry she missed him here on earth. My thoughts are that she sees and knows.  She was the best of the best!! I'm so lucky! |
