Adam Lambert @adamlambert #eltonjohn #duckface ... His Vegas show is soooo good. instagram.com/p/ejOIEfuNFt/Can't post outside box.... But it looks like Adam's hair is more than a nod towards the Frankengump!! Another quarter of a inch.... Those who have reservations about the performance should just take a moment to think how much worse it could have been....LOL.....

Veering off a bit.....those who were there...how did the seating thing work? it sounds as if people could move from more distant seats into closer, vacated ones - even down on the floor. Was that right? Lots of comings and goings anyway. There are three stages for the indoor show. The rotating main stage with the A and B sides. And an escalating elevated stage for the DJs. The outdoor festival had two separate stages. *** Security was very strict about sections -- if you were ticketed in Floor A or B (up front on the floor) about 12 people checked your tickets along the way to those seats. The people in the very front (mostly cute young women in tight dresses) had special wristbands. I was on the floor and a couple guys sneaked in and security removed them very quickly. You could move forward in your section if there were empty seats. The concert was 6 hours long so some people left before it was over and at the end they let some people moved up to fill seats. Some ticket holders got moved to better seats. This happened with both the MGM Grand ticket buyers and with people who bought tickets from brokers. I did not hear of anyone getting upgraded seats who bought tickets from Ticketmaster.

That's true, there's not that much mention of his hair in all the flailing and the occasional complaint/worry.
I'll just come out and say it - I actually like the respectful discussion here. Not just flailing, but the concerns and doubts, which are generally addressed by the members here. How many of us do harbour some form of those doubts but just don't speak up much? (guiltily raising hand) Reading about as many viewpoints as possible help to temper our enthusiasm, assuage our doubts, and make ATOP feel like a more than just a place to hang out only when things are going well - it's a place for us to belong no matter what. We're all his fans, that's the main thing. Countless thanks to out mods here, who prevent members from turning on each other while still sharing different viewpoints. I should probably make the effort to share my delight and awe more; I'll work on it. But to me, if it appears that everything is ALL light, it just makes me look around harder for any shadows, which become darker and more foreboding even if only in my imagination. Bringing them forward puts them in perspective. Um, for the record, I'm not referring specifically to the iHeartRadio event, just talking in generalities. This is also a plea to other members not to leave because of any negativity you see here. lilly, lifeguard, think of it as fellow fans who need help to see the light with you. Please?

Presumably the non-Ticketmaster tickets were the ones deemed to belong to competition winners and these were the people, in theory, they were giving the upgrade to. tickets were deemed to belong to competition winners and these were the people

Adam's performance last night showed vocal agility, creativity and confidence. His stage presence was off the chart, powerful and sexual. He was joyful, playful and dominant. And in control. He has gotten rid of some major baggage this year and has moved forward and is ready for his future. He's prepared like we've never seen him be prepared. He makes me breathless.

In all seriousness.....I think a lot of Adam's performance was dictated by his footwear. His freedom of movement was inhibited...he couldn't bounce around easily.
But I felt he got it right. What I wanted for him was a dignified, vocally great, performance in as near to his natural beauty as possible. I know little but I felt, and still feel, this was his best way to change opinions and create new positive ones in very casual, non- invested viewers.
Job done.

Can someone here bring over new pics of Adam today at iheart? They are posted on twitter. I don't know how to bring them here. Looks like he's wearing a see-thru black shirt inside a black jacket. Leila is in the background, I think wearing a lt. green (or beige) outfit.

LOL just posted in new thread he was wearing 3" heels, but seemed to do fine - he's been bouncing around in variations of platform heels for years he seemed to bounce around on them just fine when he wanted to (I think ChunkyMonkey's blog post has a great pic of him about a foot off the ground). Not sure what he was doing differently - but he was a big ass sexy beast on that stage last night. He slinked and strutted his way across the stage but all the while there was a "stillness" to him that was really compelling and seems to just highlight the music around him all the more (and have to just say he should always have a mic stand to relate to...)
