HI! I haven't been able to post here the last couple of days because after watching the amazing Adam/Queen performance and staying up that night until 4:00AM I had my beautiful grandkids until now. But I was able to peek in to keep up with the thread. I re-watched the performance and I really felt, like Brain had tweeted on the first day of rehearsals "This just feels right", that Adam and Queen just blended perfect with each other and for that 35 min performance Adam really was one of the members of Queen. So classy, polished, charismatic, and joyful! And I think Adam, even though he moved to the front of the runway at times, wanted the crowd to experience Adam/Brian/Roger/and the Band = Queen and he was apart of the whole Queen experience. Adam always a team player showed respect for the legends...the rock royalty...all the while shining brightly cool, clam, and AMAZEBALLS!! JMHO EXACTLY!!! Watching Nic vids I get such a strong sense that something really, really, great is going to happen for Adam and soon. |

I've been watching Queen and Adam's performance over and over, sometimes the full video, sometimes the split video, sometimes individual videos, and longing for a longer set. And until seoulmate's post from last night, never paid attention to the fact that we didn't quite get the full 35 minutes they were allotted. Just imagine. What song(s) could they have fit in those extra three or four (if you don't count the intro) minutes. Wistful sigh. (I know it was slightly under their given time because they crafted the set they wanted and executed it so flawlessly---I'm just dreaming.) But could they have performed even longer if they wanted to? I hear Justin's set last night went on for about 45 minutes and he was only scheduled for 30. I wasn't awake to see him, but as I was getting ready for bed I did see a video package that aired just before Kesha's set where they showed clips from Queen's performance and interviewed fans from Friday night who said that Queen was their favorite act of the night. A few fans they talked to had come from different parts of the world to see the show. One woman said she'd come all the way from England and I think I recognized her (Cassie's friend, Angelina, the opera singer) but I'm not sure since I wasn't watching the segment at the start and ran to the computer when I heard Queen's name.

When they do the director's cut for TV, maybe we'll get new vantage points and shots that are different from what we saw on the stream, like we did for the EMAs.

Pretty sure we got the full 35 mins. That video we have all been watching has skips. Someone on twitter is ULing her full HD vid from the audience right now. Should be ready in about an hour  |

Thanks again, nic! So many special moments shown here but just a few. At 12:25, AFL leading Brian out onto the catwalk like he did for the EMAs, his exclamation of woah! at 14:20, and at 14:35, urging the band to group together for the final bow. |

Misha It was Angelina Kalahari from London. She came up behind me in the bathroom and gave me a big hug. Sure wasn't expecting to run into her! Let alone in the same bathroom. I had met her last July in London. She said tell the Atoppers Hi...especially Cassie. Also was in the same bathroom after the show with Leila, Danielle and Alisse. Like mys*&@^#r said, bathrooms are often happening places. Lots of veeerrrry interesting observations happen in the ladies bathroom.
