Ignore them!! Rock guys do not hold Idol in esteem!!  What really bugged me was comments about karaoke. Has Adam ever sung anything karaoke? |

You know that pic up above that Q3 posted? The one that has "Essell @essellsari 21 Sep And my FIXED @adamlambert and Queen "CDcover" above the pic?
I can't locate the original. Does anyone know where it came from? I really want to save that pic, but without all the lettering on it!

OT. Anyone watch the Emmy's? Nile's song "Get Lucky" was featured during a dance routine. And I've been hearing "Le Freak" on some commercial recently. Nile is everywhere. Hope that bodes well for LMD to become a single in the US.

We went to the "village" part of the festival Saturday, which was disappointing: very hot and windy, in a big parking lot with no shade and a huge row of porta-potties. I really wanted to see Jason Derulo but the shuttle bus took like 30 minutes to take us 2 or so miles so we missed most of his performance :(. The little I did see was awesome tho. Sort of wanted to see Miley and some others but no way could we handle that sun and heat all afternoon.
Anyway after his set they were blasting Avicii's Hey Brother out over all the speakers at the festival. I confess I actually like the song, but so wanted to hear them blast LMD, THAT CONCERT WAS FILLED WITH ALL THE 20-something's. We had to wait about 20 min plus for another shuttle to leave, and every time the song changed was hoping for LMD, but no such luck.

Haha I woulden't take anything on that site with any real seriousness, I don't think ultimate classic rock fans is the demographic Adam is concerned about. They are ignorant it doesen't matter how good Adam is in their eye's he is not Freddie Mercury and he came off a singing show, so that is probably what they meant by Karaoke, I don't see the problem tho tons of talented singers have gone on Idol, X Factor e.t.c. If they seriousley think that means you get a tag or label they are seriousley out of loop, going on singing shows is just a massive part of launching your career now, unless you have a large fanbase or following, or have any real media attention, it is really hard to get signed these days. To them if it is not pure rock it is not music lol, you can be a fan of all types of music, rock is not the holy grail even though alot of people like to think it is, personally vocally I think Adam is par with Freddie and potentialy greater JMO, most people have said he was awesome, I woulden't let some minority tamper that. |
