I recorded QAL with 3 different devices. The best recording has been uploaded in MP3 format. I will be uploading the other 2 recordings in the next day or 2 - I'll post another notice then. You can find them at (copy & paste full link into browser address bar): mega.co.nz/#F!nF8UUDRC!cYAN3gW1be5XHMQfVev7XQlink These MP3 files are converted to MP3 from the original WAV format, but otherwise unprocessed, e.g., I did not increase the volume of the recording. I will do some processing to increase the volume, provide individual song files, & provide more formats. When I split into individual song files, I will do it in a way that does not give a audible gap between tracks. I will also provide a CD image that can be downloaded in 1 file (about 350 MB) and burned to CD in 3-4 easy clicks on Windows 7/8 or Mac (Windows XP requires a software program to do this). But first I want to try to filter out the high frequency squeals (from the mic, guitar, or amps?), one at the end of WWTLF and the other near the end of the set. If you want to do any editing of these files, or mixing them with video, and post them for others, please let me know first as I might have already done it and not posted the file or I may have plans to do it. If you know someone with good video who would be agreeable with mixing their video and my audio, please let me know. This link should work. You will need to copy & paste the link into your browser address bar. (Atop does not seem to make clickable links that have a "!" in the address. Mods, do you know a way around this?) mega.co.nz/#F!nF8UUDRC!cYAN3gW1be5XHMQfVev7XQ Note that there are now 2 MP3 files. The one with "Sony" in the name is the better recording. It has a deeper, richer sound with a deep booming, but not too loud, bass. The one with "Zoom" in the name is very good, but has a bit less of the rich bass sound. I think the 3rd one I will post later has even less bass as I used a low frequency cut off filter when recording. Also, the "Zoom" version has the Mario intro while the "Sony" version does not. I can post both recording with & without the intro if anyone wants. Any other suggestions for editing or formatting are welcome. ETA: Note that how much bass you hear in a recording also depends on your player and speakers/headphones. If you play the songs on a system that cannot pass the low frequencies in the bass, then you will not hear them, or they may even be distorted. Plus, people hear things differently. So you will have my 3 versions & Butterknife's version to choose from and see which sounds best on your system and to your ears. Please let us know your feedback as it helps us to improve the recordings for future events! There are many combinations of equipment and settings on the equipment that we are experimenting with. *** Q3: You have to create a link to get rid of the ! -- Here you go tinyurl.com/iHRDancyG

And it's after 3 a.m. and I'm going to bed but I have a question. In yesterday's thread adamrocks posted some old tweets from shoshanna: I have a vague murky memory that Brian actually said something about his reaction when he first heard Adam sing WWTLF. Does anyone else remember this? Am I hallucinating? Gawd... I would have KILLED to be in that rehearsal room when Brian first heard Adam open his mouth and start to sing that song. seoulmate, Brian said during the rehearsal Adam did his amazing interpretation to a song and Brian so amazed and he forgot to play his guitar. However at that time Brian didn't mention the song was WWTLF. He posted it on his personal blog. I think that was what Brian said after the Kiev concert about the Kiev concert. thelambertluvva posted on page 5 the quote about when Brian first hear WWTLF in rehearsal. Of course I could be wrong, but that is what I remember.

Dancy - You are a gem! Thanks! I'm enjoying your hard work at this moment.
For anyone who could not get the download: I tried in Internet Explorer, but could not get past the home page. I tried in Chrome, and it took me right to Dancy's downloads. Go figure...

For anyone who could not get the download: I tried in Internet Explorer, but could not get past the home page. I tried in Chrome, and it took me right to Dancy's downloads. Go figure... I can get to the download page without problems using FireFox. ETA - I just tried in Internet Explorer. While it took me to the download page, it first displayed this message and suggested using FireFox, Chrome, or Opera: "Internet Explorer 10 is not fully compatible with MEGA Internet Explorer 10 contains a significant bug affecting file writing from JavaScript, causing an out of memory situation when downloading large amounts of data. We expect this issue to be fixed in Internet Explorer 11. In the meantime, please upgrade to an alternative browser."

One after Kiev about being so mesmerized by what AFL was doing on stage that he forgot to play his guitar and the other one was close to what Cassie said but not exactly. It definitely including being completely unprepared for Adams' interpretation of WWTLF but there was more. Haven't had time to look but I saved a page of quotes from that time. I know I will find it!

Adam Fan @rockgodadam 55m @adamlambert Please listen to NY Rock station www.q1043.com/main.html tonight, Carol Miller to play Queen / Adam between 8pm - 10pm WOW! That's my station. This is EPIC. NY's biggest classic rock station (Arbitron rated #5 in the nation) playing Adam Lambert. There is another DJ there who has been a closet Adam fan since Idol. I have sent her youtubes over the years - including the EMA's. Carol Miller is a rock DJ superstar (in the R&R Hall of Fame). Here's her bio: Carol's one of the longest-running New York radio personalities, from years at WPLJ and WNEW, and she's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, hosted dozens of national and international radio shows; also TV - E.T., VH-1, and others. Carol's From NY, and holds a B.A. from the U of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra U. School of Law.

Another photo is at the top of their page when you hit the little arrows for pictures from the festival. www.q1043.com/main.htmlETA: They also have this on their main page. www.q1043.com/articles/rock-news-104703/queen-calls-adam-lamberts-voice-one-11673621/Gee, can you tell I'm fucking excited?
