I'm wondering if Nate Ruess and Adam have worked together recently or may work together (on new music I mean). I was surprised when Nate said "the best singer I know" because to my knowledge, they haven't met before, at least until the rehearsals for this show. I recall feeling slightly butt-hurt when Rolling Stone had an article about fun. and wrote something like "this is the music Adam Lambert should have been making" when complimenting the band and especially their mega-hit We Are Young. While I don't necessarily agree that is the music Adam should have been making, he should definitely have mega-hits that show off his voice! I think that Nate and Pink came up with a really good song so I would be in favor of a collab with either of them! I love Adam singing pop music, dance music, ballads, some rock but I really think Adam should make the music he wants to, that he connects with and I will love it and buy it! Nate and Adam rehearsed together last week before the concert. Anyone with any kind of singing ability who hears Adam's voice up close and personal, and who works with him during rehearsal where he throws off these incredible improvs and riffs with total ease, couldn't come to any other conclusion than that here is a guy with an extraordinary voice. It is obvious when he is performing, but, when he is rehearsing without the audience, without the bells and whistles, even without a mic the voice is jaw-dropping. I imagine that standing near him while he is singing, one would FEEL the resonance, power and purity in his voice. When someone as seasoned and experienced with singers as Brian May says he was so overwhelmed he almost forgot to play his guitar, and says Freddie would be "awestruck"...... well, how could Nate not realize Adam is the best he has ever heard?

Adam needs to keep on truckin down the righteous path of his duality between the rocking rolling wild child singer and keepin it real making the pop albums he wants to make of maximum pleasure and minimum pain for ours and his ears. Amen

Adam is known and I believe respected among his peers. I'm sure Nate has heard Adam sing, even before rehearsals. WWFM was a big song!! The EMAs! Leno, Ellen, Idol every season!!

Cassie, I have no doubt that most singers realize Adam's superior talent when they can witness it first hand, and obviously Nate did. I'm impressed and pleased that Nate recognized it OUT LOUD to a full arena and live stream! I would not mind it at all if Nate were to write a song with Adam, especially a song like We Are Young, an incredibly popular song that would show off Adam's vocals!
hey are you guys trying to spoil my fantasy of Nate/Adam collab lol?

I listened to the Ray of Light soundcheck on my mp3 player yesterday and was again astonished at his artistry and mastery. And he had so much fun. "Put that on your blog!" He's really a phenom.

Miley Cyrus just started following Adam on twitter. They know the deal!!!
I was reading an article where Brian May said "Hopes it transmits well" after their iheart show. Does anyone have any idea what he meant by that. I have my theories but curious what you all think.
Moved my post to new thread.

Check out the recent iHeartRadio concert in Las Vegas where Adam is using a RC35 capsule on his wireless. Also of interest is Nate Ruess from Fun., another great singer, who joins Adam. We know there are a ton of variables in a show of this type, but the difference in sound between the two singer's chosen mic capsules is interesting. Enjoy! Me thinks the "difference in sound" might have to do with a tad bit more than mic capsules.
