I am not yet recovered (probably won't ever be) from the magic of BoRap to BoRap. Who could have ever written a script like this? It would be brandied as a total improbable Cinderella story. And WATC to WATC. If I let my mind go there, it spins around in the laws of probability, short circuits and then I cry from the total awesome magic of it all - complete with the fairy godfathers dropping in at the most auspicious times.

A little OT at the moment.... I never read the comments under articles/reviews. But noticed that all 10+ comments under the 9/21 Jason Lipshutz review of IHeart in The Hollywood Reporter were from Keith Urban fans complaining that the review had left him out. I guess all fandoms get upset when their artist is 'slighted' in their opinion. I've never left a comment but it seems Adam fans aren't the only ones to point out 'injustices' Well.. Keith maybe good but then there's Katy Perry, Elton John and Queen over there. And as it happened they gave amazing performances. Compare to these three.. Keith may looked just okay for the media. Just saying.

I think Adam is an above average songwriter -- and has gotten better. All of my favorite Adam recorded tracks except 1 are Adam co-writes (in random order) -- Aftermath (acoustic), Voodoo, CLYG, Pick U Up, Pop That Lock, Cuckoo, Broken English, Outlaws of Love, Runnin. The exception is CLYG which I would love to have a simpler production version of -- like stripped. Wow. Except for Cuckoo those songs are also among my favorites. They all have meaning and tell a story. Some are not radio friendly songs but I get a real connection to a lot of them. Pick U Up is one underrated song. My other favorites are FYE, Nirvana, By the Rules, Chokehold and Take Back. What about Broken Pieces? Didn't he write on that one? I LOVE that song!

As I recall, Adam does have experience with this. As I remember it was once, in a car, when he was 14. Holy kraaaaap!!! Just dropping by to comment: I have NO idea what my 3 adult children's "experience" entails.....but I know Adam's !! Yikes!!!

Adam got my attention the moment his audition aired. Not only was he a real cutie (doesn't hurt, right?), but so charming. "I'm not skeerd" and perfect vocals with BoRap. I enjoyed watching Paula watching Adam's reaction to the discussion about too theatrical, but is he a good singer... She was smiling and looking at Adam the entire time. And kissing the ladies' hands, "I'm going to Hollywood", so sweet. This video didn't have him turning around and running down the street, which was also cute, but this entire audition was so much fun. Adam still appeared confident and poised, but more boyish. He has grown up.

To each their own. Trespassing & Cuckoo resonate with me.
