This is a BIG WIN. In fact, singing perfectly with Queen in Vegas was just half the battle. Getting the recognition in the press and radio and indeed from people who know classic rock and knew Freddie personally is the other half. Assuming that she heard only the official singles from FYI and Trespassing, I kind of agree that none of them were nearly as memorable as the time-tested Queen classics. Did not experience it as dissing Adam, just stating her impressions... |

I got curious and checked the playlists in Finnish radio. During the last 24 hours they played Adam and Avicii as follows. Voice: IIHY, TP, BTIKM, WWFM (WMU x5) Nova: WWFM (WMUx3, YMMx4) Aalto: NCOE, IIHY, TP (WMUx4) NRJ: not available YleX3m: link not working YleX: no Adam on their hit based playlist (WMUx2) YleX has also special programming (ie music outside playlist) in the evenings for new music (on fridays they take requests). After True was released they have played 'Addicted to you' three times and 'Lay me down' once on Sep 16.
