I am NOT saying it's what I want, and we know it's not what Adam wanted, but I imagine someone somewhere in the offices of RCA saying "see? 80's covers . . ." Seems there is something being said about Adam's reputation as a singers' singer, a mega-talent, a capital "V" "Voice" every day now. It's fantastic. I LOVE that next up is "Glee," where, I hope, Adam will be singing some recent top 40 hits, and then, soon-ishly, some new songs that will be his next radio hits. Didn't Brian May say something about how elusive, mercurial, unknown the formula for a hit really is? Did he say that in the context of talking about Adam, does anyone recall?

Not sure if this has been posted. davidatlanta.com/2013/09/staying-true-avicii-opens-album/One of the tracks on True that we are hoping is the next single is “Lay It Down” with Adam Lambert. What was it like working with Adam?It was great. Adam has an amazing voice. More than anything, he’s also a great writer. But his voice is just insane! He’s like a reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. Actually more like a mixture of Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant. Is that what attracted you to working with Adam? His showmanship as a performer?
Yeah, I think so. It was Nile Rodgers that kinda had the connection with him and brought him down to put the vocals on a demo that Nile and I did. We weren’t even intending to have him sing on the final track. But then he did such an amazing job on the demo, we were like, “Why go look for someone else? It’s brilliant as it is.” There was another song we did with Adam. It was about going down on a girl. He was like “well it’s not for me, but I’ll sing it. I’ll do it for the people, I’ll go down for the people” One way or another we all go down! Ha ha ha ha Go Adam! Love that Avicii shared this! Hilarious and fabulous.

My happy place... just Adam ( well his photo) and the creative things you can do with him... My next mission...possess the ability to half-squat on an incline without turning into a hapless marionette... EVEN AS DREAMS SLIP AWAY, WE CAN STILL BUILD OUR FOREVER....Wow, what a beautiful pic, animated!

I'm seeing more openness in this interview, a bit more claiming Adam which is good and not just seeing him as Nile's guy. But I did have to laugh at him saying they were just going to have Adam demo LMD. That may have been what he thought Nile was going to do. Nile could have said "I know a guy". But I'm pretty sure that Nile didn't call Adam up for a demo, but I could be wrong. Maybe that's why they made sure Adam had writing credit because just that (if we didn't know that he had sung) would have been pretty cool too. I read another interview where I thought when someone asked Tim if he wrote the entire LMD, and he said Adam wrote the lyrics. So, I don't think they gave him "writing credits" just to have his name on the song.
