I don't think that Adam is ridiculing the concept of sin in Judeo-Christian tradition. I never said that. I have heard many others around him be at times dismissive or sarcastic about matters of theology, I have never heard this out of Adam. In fact, I have always found Adam to be very respectful towards all religious beliefs, when he would have good reason, based on how he is being judged and treated by many of them, to behave otherwise. Which does not mean to say that he is not pondering the concepts presented by them. He might or might not be. But that is different than ridiculing it. I find it rather unfortunate that my quote was taken out of context and is now showing up on totally different blogs, but with my name attached to those new and redefined musings. Here is what I said yesterday: "I know that the theological themes and intentions in Genesis are different, I cannot help but notice, that there is a certain connection between the absurdity of declaring something as natural as eating an apple a sin, and declaring the love of a certain person a sin. I have no idea, whether that is why Adam connects with the topic, but its a possible interpretation." These were my 'ponderings', I don't think they should be projected onto Adam with a ridiculing framework attached to them, to boot. I have no idea why Adam chose that scene and what it means to him. I apologise for misunderstanding your post from yesterday, Craazyforadam. I'm so sorry, I should have read it more carefully. I will delete my post. I have no idea what other blogs you are talking about. I haven't even posted it on my tumblr, I only posted it here. |

I hope Adam hasn't become addicted to tats. I mean - what's next - sleeve the other arm and then his back and chest and then they start coming up his neck.
Fans complain about Melvin cause they say his beautiful face is covered. Well, facial hair can be shaved off. When a tat is there, it's there. And I see his tats as covering up his beautiful arms. I can't see the "beauty" in body-covering tats that so many speak of - not at all.
*sigh*
This is neither here nor there, but the sin in Genesis was not in eating the apple per se, but the sin of disobedience in eating the apple.

It is interesting that i can watch the Sauli vid in Canada. It is common for the US to block us but if US is blocked, we are generally included in that block. Interesting..... I could watch the video in Sauli Central but it didn't include all the intro. We'll add the intro tomorrow , with everything going on now w/Sauli things and personal lifes it's been a very busy weekend for us so we just accidentally skipped that part . |
