Hey every generation has its novelty songs...I think that fox thing is catchy and cute....and popular. Think Mares Eat Oats.....Purple people eater .... Witch Doctor ...... and i guess they are seeing the popularity of Gangnam Style last year and making sure they get that same audience this year.... If they emphasize a 30 yr old classic rock band over current stuff, they will lose much of their target audience and the back lash would be to not ever "make that mistake again"...IMHO Good post  Gangnam Style was actually a well made song though... I don't understand why people are so amused by a guy making animal noises. ??? People really need to stop enjoying things that I don't!! *throws toys* *buys a hundred copies of Take One* I would seriously agree to listen to Gangnam Style once a day for the rest of my life, if it meant never hearing ' The Fox' again!  |

OT but I found this really neat....it's 50years of music in 6 minutes. Brian May's guitar solo at 1:48 min.! Goes to prove that the good Doctor is incomparable and inimitable. While the majority of the other solos were relatively close to the styles of their respective players, the BoRap part was nowhere near the original, IMHO. Very enlightening, thanks for posting! |

The last time I was at CFA I hauled out my phone and played Adam Lambert video's throughout my swim club meeting. It made me feel better about even breathing the air in there.
