Just an interesting note. In yesterday's NY Daily News there was a brief item stating that the two IHeart Radio honchos flew to England to meet with Queen's manager to get them to perform at IHeart.

Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker do joke songs -- their Stonehenge is pretty funny too. It is a critique about popular music. ETA: Oh the Ellen Show video is perfect -- where they explain what they do. I thought it was weird but funny. It sure as hell woke my dh and I up as we waited for Queenbert to perform. We watched the stream real-time (probably like everyone else here) and needed the WTF boost. |

OK I have to defend WTF -- Ylvis - The Fox [Official music video HD] I like it. The official video was posted on Sept 3, 2013 and it has 71,662,546 views, and 958,712 likes. So I am not alone. And the live performance at iHRMF was better than the video. They really can sing. And I hope to hear more from them -- perhaps without the fox costumes. I'm not sure about the song, but I actually like the guy's voice.. he really can sing. |

Well mine's not on for another hour. Had to look several places on Direct TV to find it. Up in the 300 area I'm not subscribed. Finally found it down with the local channels on #3. It says Adam Lambert plain as day on the description.  |

fun is on now. I guess I'll have to watch some more live performances of theirs before the vocal problems started. It's pitchy. They sang one song. They said Queen and fun will have a rare performance.
