Adam attends premiere of “Bridegroom”
Gives “Outlaws of Love” to filmmakers to use

Monday night, October 15th, Adam attended the premiere of “Bridegroom”. And he looked great!! This was not just Adam going to see a movie made by some friends. He wanted to support this film and offered to give the filmmakers one of his songs to use in the movie. Reports from people who attended the film confirm what many Adam-watchers guessed, “Outlaws of Love” is featured in the film.

Adam Lambert and Nikki Reed hit the red carpet at the premiere of Bridegroom held at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday (October 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 31-year-old entertainer and Nikki, 25, were joined by Cuba Gooding Jr., Lily Tomlin, Fran Drescher, Monique Coleman, Andrea Bowen, and star of the documentary Shane Bitney Crone at the event benefiting Love is Louder.

“Humbled to be part of this beautiful film!,” Adam wrote on his Twitter account. “Much respect to @shanebitney’s @bridegroommovie.”

Adam Lambert's track will feature in new movie Bridegroom

An Adam Lambert song will appear on the soundtrack for new movie Bridegroom.

The documentary film is close to the singer's heart as he says he followed the story in real life as it happened.

The film is about two young men, Shane Bitney Crone and Tom Bridegroom in a committed relationship which is cut short by the tragic and untimely death of Tom Bridegroom.

However, it's what happened afterwards that has hit a nerve with America's gay community, as it was then that Shane discovered the true extent of Tom's relatives' discrimination.

At the premiere, Adam talked to the press about how his song landed on the soundtrack.

He said: "I became aware of this whole story online. There was a YouTube video that the gentleman who is involved with this film put up, and I met him at the GLAAD Awards in San Francisco earlier this year.

"We started talking backstage for a while and I said 'I wish there was some way I could be a part of it'."

Speaking about the song he chose for the film, Adam added: "We kept talking and I actually contributed a song for the film.

"It's a really beautiful song that's really near to me. Hopefully it can help embody some of the emotion the story will bring up for people."

Adam is proud to have contributed to the movie. He wrote on twitter yesterday saying: “Humbled to be part of this beautiful film!,”

Bridegroom is set to be aired on Oprah Winfrey's cable network, OWN and will be streamed for Netflix members at the end of October.

‘Paul was macho, but Adam is a diva’: Queen’s Roger Taylor on differences between Adam Lambert, Paul Rodgers

Roger Taylor doesn’t shy away from comparisons between the last two frontman to take the reins for Queen’s Freddie Mercury, saying there’s plenty to set Paul Rodgers and Adam Lambert apart.

Of course, Queen is coming off a well-received debut on American soil with Lambert, as part of a huge iHeart Radio music event held in September at Las Vegas. They’ve been working with the Idol runner up since appearing on the program together in 2009.

Previous to that, Queen had a lengthy collaborative relationship with Rodgers, the former Free and Bad Company singer, going back to 2005.

Mercury, who co-founded Queen in 1970 with Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon, died in 1991 after a battle with AIDS.

Queen not only did two major tours with Rodgers, they also issued a benefit single and a studio album called The Cosmos Rocks in 2008. Taylor, speaking to MOJO magazine, confirms that there are no current plans to record with Lambert.

Here’s how Taylor compared and contrasted Queen’s two singers:

“Paul,” the drummer says, “has a perfect blues and soul voice, but our songs are big — and dare I say it, theatrical — and Adam fits that more easily. … Adam is closer to Freddie. Paul was macho, but Adam is a diva. His range is staggering.”

Ashton Michael Shuts Down The Street, Brings Miguel & Adam Lambert To LAFW

One thing we LOVE about LA Fashion Week is that almost anything goes, and this year designer Ashton Michael is showing us how to shut it down, literally.

For his SS’14 Show, Black Cross, blocking off Las Palmas Avenue at Hollywood Blvd (during rush hour) was not his only challenge. The clothes must be fitted, the hair must be done, the press must be notified, and – oh yeah – the guests must be invited.

Lucky for him, Ashton is no stranger to outfitting celebs like Justin Bieber, Cher and will.i.am (amongst many more), so it’s no shock that his list of attendees was quite impressive. From R&B sensation Miguel, to Baby Daddy‘s Tahj Mowry, fans and friends were out to support the designer’s return to LA Fashion Week. Semi-Precious Weapons, Colette Carr, Mario, Mindless Behavior, Hana Mae Lee, Jeffree Starr and Adam Lambert were just a few of those seated front row – ogling the new looks on each model that rocked the slick charcoal runway in their Dr. Martens.
