Aww!! what else I will discover tonight ...   Am I the only one who thinks posting pictures like this is intensely creepy and if I were Adam I'd think this was REALLY OTT? Maybe keep the sexual fantasies, especially about a gay man, to yourselves? It's only photoshoped photo (not bad IMHO) not explicit porno. And I actually don't see what his orientation has to do with it. Photoshoped erotic photos of straight people are everywhere. |

squidbert...no you are not the only one. I'm sure at this point Adam has seen about everything. And the Details magazine shoot certainly fueled the fire of many a Glambert's idea of sexual excitement. This particular photo shopped piece has that same flavor. I know, but it makes me cringe every time I see someone's nude "artwork" or something like this photo. If someone put up things like this about one of our kids, I'm sure we'd have the cops after them. Why is it okay for a public personality? Bad taste, if nothing else. |

I am just catching up with today's thread because after having brunch with my friends, I came back home with the beginning of a flu, so I have been in bed :-( Regarding my first encounter with Adam, it was with "mama..." while I was channel surfing, and I immediately started to watch Idol, and somehow I landed on MJ's blog, and from there Planet Fierce and then from Adamtopia 1 to 2. Of course, Google was my friend to learn more things about Adam; but this was after the idol finale. I needed my Adam fix and there I was looking for everything Adam. I have been wondering if Adam has time to work on A3. We have not heard of Adam being in a recording studio lately ???

His orientation does have something to do with it, it's straight women's sexual fantasies about a man who has no real interest in sex with women. Fantasies are fine, but does the object of those fantasies need to have them continuously made public? Shouldn't those who claim to absolutely adore Adam and feel protective towards him show some concern that he might find this intrusive and uncomfortable? |

ah...well, that's why we have the ability to scroll. Having become a bit of a public personality in my own community what I realize is that people's ideas and beliefs about me are not me. It's really pretty simple. We tend to project an image of what we think someone is onto them and then respond in kind.
Adam is going to get this stuff for the rest of the time that he remains a public figure. He is very grounded and centered in his true self and I hope he remains that way. That is how he will remain sane in the face of all the personalities his very strong and beloved fan base project onto him.
We don't need to protect him from such stuff. He has his own protection

So I'm not going to throw stones at autor of this photomanipulation. He is a celebrity ergo he is the subject of sexual fantasies and he know about it, not to mention that he provoke this kind of thinking intentionally by his stage behavior. |
