Thank you, Katycake!!! Oh boy, more chances for Adam story lines!! A big thanks to Holst and Iridium as well. I didn't think Adam would be a continuing character since he has MUSIC to get ready for us hungry consumers..I wish big...but this helps clarify how Glee has operated in the past! Love this place..ask and you receive..bingo! Glad I could help. Hope you're having a nice evening.

According to Ryan Murphy, this is the planned schedule for Glee this season: - Premiere 9/26, run 3 episodes, then go on hiatus until after the World Series - Return 11/7 and run 6-7 episodes in a row (the show would run up to Christmas). - Glee then goes on hiatus from late December until "late Spring" (Ryan didn't specify a date). A new show starring Greg Kinnear will run in Glee's timeslot from January through late Spring. - Glee then returns with new episodes in late Spring and then runs through June. Of course, like everything else in TV, this schedule is subject to change. But this was the plan as of a month or 2 ago. The logic behind it was to supposedly cut down the number of repeated episodes of Glee within a season, but who knows the real reason. It does make for a confusing chopped-up schedule. Re: the number of times Adam will appear, the season is supposed to have 22 episodes. Adam is a "guest star"; other guest stars like Kate Hudson and Sara Jessica Parker appeared in 4-6 episodes. Given that Glee is split between 2 locations (NYC and Lima, Ohio) and the show typically has multiple story lines each season, some of the permanent main cast members don't even appear in all of the episodes. So, based on past seasons of Glee, Adam is unlikely to appear in the majority of episodes. I would guess that he will be in about the same number of shows as other guest stars. But only Ryan Murphy and the other writers know for certain. At least we do know, thank to Shoshanna, that Adam will be in more than one episode. I guess we will have to watch and see. Sure doesn't seem to add up to 22 episodes. How can they expect Glee's rating to go up if they take such a long hiatus after December? Late spring until June could mean about a month of shows (let's say May to June, which would be late spring). Then they go on another hiatus until September-ish? I wonder if they film the shows when it is getting close to airing? Like tape in October for Dec shows, and March-ish for the late spring shows. So far it doesn't seem like Adam has filmed more than one show.

Songs spoilers for Glee episode 7 "Puppet Master"(Adam might be in that one): (1) Cheek To Cheek, by Fred Astaire. (2) Into The Groove, by Madonna. (3) Nasty/Rhythm, by Janet Jackson. (4) You're My Best Friend, by Queen. (5) We Can't Stop, by Miley Cyrus. (6) Don't You (Forget About Me), by Simple Minds. ok, so if these songs are in Adam's second episode, which one(s) seem most likely to be one his character would sing? I understand the songs help to led the plot lines so I think we could make some guesses. Cheek to cheek - too romantic for his character just yet? Into the Groove-Madonna. Goes along with the cover band idea? . Nasty/Rhythm Nation -too much of a women's anthemn? You're My best friend- again, too early to establish a best friend feel good vibe? And, I am hoping he doesn't do a Queen cover! We Can't Stop- kinda non commital plot wise ? Don't you- love song but open for interpretatio, maybe for being reconcidered for band? I am the last person who should be trying to figure oout glee but it's slow....

Then as AI reduces the number of hours it airs each week, Glee appears. When I watched a couple Glee seasons this past summer to catch up, I was surprised that they had the full number of episodes. It didn't seem possible, but it works.

So far it doesn't seem like Adam has filmed more than one show. You're right -- the weeks don't necessarily add up. But I wouldn't take "late Spring" too literally. I doubt Glee would be off the air for 5 months, then run for one month and then go on hiatus again until the Fall. So I suspect what will actually happen is that Glee will run 10 episodes this Fall (Sept-Dec), then go on hiatus, and return in late April. That would give enough time to run another 10 episodes by the end of June. Also, the season premiere was postponed a week due to Cory Monteith's death, so it is likely that the season will be 20-21 episodes instead of the original 22. I think this sounds like the most likely plan, unless Greg Kinnear's show tanks and FOX decides to bring Glee back a little sooner.

I am going to be in China (Beijing and Shanghai specifically) November 4 -12. I know Adamtopia has some members who know a lot about China. So my question is: will I be able to buy the Asian (think it may be called the International version) of TRESPASSING in China? I don't mean a cd sold by a street vendor, but a genuine copy sold in a store. Thanks for any help with this.
About GLEE, based on the past seasons I've watched, special guest stars rarely appear on consecutive shows. Their appearances are sprinkled over several episodes. Keep in mind that GLEE has many characters, with many plot lines, particularly now with having to combine (somewhat clumsily, I think) the Ohio and New York groupings. The show is not about the guest star, the guest star is just there to lend some flavor to the show.

It seems to me that the Glee writers do not have a detailed plan for the storyline of the season. Rather, they write episodes as the season progresses, staying maybe a month ahead. In the past, they have had guest stars slated for a specific number of episodes, and they have worked out so well with the cast and the audience that their number of episodes has been extended. We know Adam has already charmed everyone on set, so I am crossing my fingers.
