Of course it would be different according to size of venues,etc. hmm interesting.. I think i understand this..LOL ..IMHO opinion,one offs like Adam is doing may be more profitable ,less out going costs.. Maybe.. I know nothing.. any opinions on this? |

I do not understand the question -- but if there is any thought that Adam is making more money than any of this week's top 20 touring acts -- the answer is no. **** When Adam was doing GNT, it was running around #60 in the US on tour gross. **** Generally, for what a solo artist makes after expenses, band, etc. --- Top arena artists make the most money. (Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Buble) The next most profitable tour structure is large amphitheaters For non-touring artists (like Adam), the most lucrative types of events are casino shows, private concerts and (if the artist is known in Asia) Asia mini-tours or one-off concerts. **** The scale of show and length of tour and many other factors play into the whole picture (like size of entourage) -- Dave Mathews Band expenses are much lower than Rihanna's. |

Adam related 9:30 - 11:30 and 13:23-ish "... It's one in hundreds of millions, if you can find somebody who can handle those songs. And Adam Lambert is really... completely extraordinary voice... and he has the right temperament, he's a lot of fun to be with, you know, he's a great showman, and so it works. So after doing the iHeart thing, a lot of people have been asking if we would go out on tour, and, you know, it IS a possibility, it's a thought. We did a few dates, I don't know of you remember, we did a couple of European dates. We played to - I think 300,000 people in Ukraine, our first gig with him, you know - and he walked it, he was fine, he didn't get phased by it, he can handle that stuff. So, you know, it's a possibility, and it's nice to have that possibility". IDK, the way they keep saying that a small tour is possible, I get the feeling they already got a couple of dates set. It's just a feeling though! It's a testament to Freddie Mercury Vocal capability. After decades and decades they found one, Adam is one in hudreds of millions that can take on those song catalogues, not just sing them but to sing the songs with the right attitude. That's why they're not easy songs to sing. That's why I'm very picky of people trying to sing Queen's song, until I heard Adam's Bo-Rep on SF audition. I knew and can feel it. And I feel the same way about Adam's songs. His rocker songs are not easy to sing and I'm very picky of people trying to sing them. |

Oh gosh no thoughts that Adam is making more money than the pop stars shown on list.. I was comparing Adam to Adam himself.. like paying the band ,travel expenses ,etc. and where he himself could probably come out best as far as pay out costs...mouth zipped I know nothing.. LOl |
