Grandduchess, I totally understand. I lost my best friend to AIDS 7 years ago. When I watched the Glee tribute episode to Cory Monteith they started out with the song from Rent "Seasons of Love" and that is what my daughter and my friend's nieces and nephew sang at his memorial service. I was in tears the entire show. I'm glad Atop is a place where you can share and be understood. My sympathy to you. A song, a YouTube can bring back memories so vivid. I am thinking now of the good times and hope you will too. Yes thankfully I have many, many good memories with my friend, we had been buddies since Junior High School! I miss him so much sometimes and I KNOW he would have loved Adam, wish he was here to bert along with me! |
