Flailing, right along with the rest of you. Just loving it! One thing, I wanted to ask: Has there ever been a guest star or cast member, who got to release a track a week prior to the actual show? Obviously, none of us was expecting this, and I find it such a brilliant move, because once the show hits, the focus will probably be on his outfit, on his good looks, on his acting, and on the OTT extravaganza, that the role clearly lets him throw in his full Starchild glory. It is quite possible, even though, never totally with Adam, that all the spectacle could over-shadow the vocals. Giving the song a week head-start means a) a complete news cycle for both Adam as well as for Glee (marketing cost: 0 - nada - zilch) b) focus on vocals So, it is a brilliant move. But, I just would like to know, if this is unique to Adam's entry into the show, or whether Glee does such a thing regularly. The only wish I would have, is that they also put in on i-tunes now (or at least prior to the show). I am concerned, that by the 12th of November, it will be old news. Or is this song packaged together with the whole episode and sold as a whole? You can see, I know nothing about Glee. Alright, back to Late.... cos I've only just caught up after today's epic!!!!! (will post on today's thread in case you miss it Craazyforadam!) Yes, songs from Glee have been released prior to episodes screening. In fact it's happened twice already this season - The audio of some of the Beatles songs were released before the season started -and several audios of the songs from Finn's tribute episode were also released the week before. (I think in both cases through online media) So this isn't anything new, except it could well be the first time it has happened with a guest star..... IDK.... I have no words to express how INCREDIBLE this version of MTN is!!!! Like any cover, he improves it and makes it his own! But also credit to the musical arranger of this version - the instrumentation arrangement is fantastic and combined with Adam's KILLER vocals, well it sure packs a mighty punch!!! No wonder peeps (other than Glamberts!) are going crazy about it!!! No word yet as to when the new season of Glee will screen in NZ - which sux cos last season the episodes screened only a day after the US! But we will be watching online! Unfortunately I am working at the time it will screen in the US but will race home within the hour and hopefully it will be available online by the time I get home! Will be a great end to the week (Friday afternoon NZ time!)

So, listening to this I can kinda understand why RCA wanted Adam to do a cover album. He DOES do the best version of whatever song he covers. The voice, the interpretation, the passion, the voice. Take the best singer of this generation and have him sing some of the best songs of this generation, and you can't miss. I have no doubt the album would have been awesomely magnificent. I understand, also, why Adam said "No, thank you." I support his artistic vision. After listening to this and to "Stay" and to some of his other recent covers, I do secretly wish Adam could have done both HIS album, and a covers album. Oh, and a Queenbert album. A wealth of possibilities and wishes. I kinda agree...

It's got to be out there -- either in his head or someone elses. He's soooooo close.
