[looks thoughtful] Y'know, the production values of a lot of vids we've seen lately: this video, Toddrick Hall's vid, etc are really exceptional quality and I'm presuming that all these less-than-commonly-known artists (plus the cast of dancers, costumers, etc) are giving away all their work for free. Is YouTube really the only way to show off their work? Do all these obviously extremely hard-working, creative folk making a dime from any of this? Even if all their extremely talented dancer/singer friends are joining in gratis, there is still has to be a significant chunk of change being poured in for materials, etc. How are these guys surviving? I don't hear of Toddrick (for example) playing gigs. |

Adam had a fantastic Halloween week!! Four different costumes (should we count Capt. Hook?) I really love my wicked pumpkin, but I guess it is time to move on.  What will Adam be up to next?? I think he has big plans and surely has a bunch of stuff happening that we don't know about!! Looking forward to an "intense 2014" !!!! :D  :D |

Gotta love Adam for ending his Halloween marathon as a horny devil..who knew? ![]() ETA: Some unbelievable costumes..Hollywood knows how to deliver on Halloween. One of my faves..Scarlett Cherry. I did not recognize her. So many more..clever, very clever. |

YouTube ad revenue is major payola [looks dubious] What's the definition of "major payola"? $1K? $50K, $100K? Living wage in L.A. is expensive.... Don't quote me on this but I think YouTube ad revenue is currently at about $5-6 per 1k views. Their Breaking Dawn parody was uploaded a year ago and is at 21 million views so that video alone made about 105K for them over the past year. And they upload a few things a month that also have good view amounts on top of the hits their old videos keep getting so I think they have a pretty good flow of cash coming in. Go social media!!
