This is exactly what happened with We Will Rock You the musical in Vegas. Adam was turned down by the director and Brian May said head should be rolling because of that. And now Adam doesn't need the part for WWRY the musical because he performs with Queen the band. For the Pre-Idol Glee audition, Adam would have needed to pass for an early high school student even though he was 27. Now he is playing a college student and college students look much more adult than high school students. Plus college students can be any age if they didn't start college right out of high school. So, it makes sense to me that they can put Adam in Glee as a college student now even though they though he was too old 4 years ago to play a high school student. When he was on AI I thought he looked 18 years old. Most of the original Glee cast looked older than high school--as is often true of shows with high school characters. |

Can't wait to see the whole thing!!! Starchild said he designed and sewed the costume himself...wonder if he is in design at NYU?? |

Adam said he was auditioning for Finn, Cory's role. Cory and Puckman (don't know his real name) are about Adam's age, both born in 1982. It could have been more the role than Adam's age why Adam didn't get hired. I think w/o eye makeup, Adam looks just as young as Cory and Puckman. If he lightened his hair and eyebrows (from black), that also would have made him look younger. |
