On Roar -- it is a pretty typical Glee track. I wish they had featured Demi more because she does a great job on her part.
I am pleased Adam got one solo. Since he is going to be on multiple episodes, there was very little chance he would get a solo and be the lead vocalist on another song -- when there are only 4 tracks on this episode.

If you are thinking about buying to help MTN chart, please do not be deceived by the Pop chart placement. Wait until it moves onto the main iTunes chart and into the Top 100.
my guesses: 1) GLEE PTBs will be happy and give Adam a larger role - is this a possibility?
2) Some non-fans will perhaps notice the song charting AND notice that it is not Gaga who is singing - far fetched
3) Will make Adam happy - I WILL BUY JUST FOR THIS ONE
anything else?

Yes, if it sells a lot it will do 1, 2, 3 but the two big ones are:
Big reason #1: IF MTN charts in the Hot 100, it will help Adam with his label negotiations. It will demonstrate he has a commercial pop market.
Big reason #2: IF MTN charts on iTunes TOP 10 and stays there for a while, it will demonstrate to DJs/PDs/MDs that Adam is someone to watch. And we know he will have a new single soonish. Radio pays attention to iTunes.
BIGGEST REASON: Because we love Adam and it will make him happy.
ETA: mszue I agree there are a few fans who constantly post comments and tweet about how Adam is so much better than _____. It is just tiresome, does more harm than good and thankfully almost everyone ignores this small minority of fans. And hardly anyone looks at these tweets except other Adam fans.
Overall Adam fans (and particularly the fans on Twitter) are getting compliments for being so nice. I do not think there is any overall issue caused by this handful of disrespectful people.
Finally, there are way to say that "I prefer Adam's version...." or "I love this cover..." or "I heard the lyrics in a whole new way..." without being disrespectful to other artists (who have millions of fans and who Adam respects).
