Sorry, but I need to know the source of that e-mail. Nothing from the Queen fan club. All one has to do is look at "sender" on e-mail to know where it came from. Me, the glass 1/2 full person, is not jumping up and down on this rumor! I'm jumping up and down til someone shoves me   Please...please...be happening!!  |

hmmmmm Roger's album is out today. As much as I would love an Q+AL announcement, I wonder whether that would not cover up those album release news, if they came out with the touring info on the same day. Somehow I have some doubts. Maybe Brian just reiterated in a new interview that there is something in the works between them and Adam, and that was news to somebody and hence that email. I dunno. Some major Queen fan websites have done everything in their power to NOT publish interviews where Brian or Roger talk about their possible touring plans with Adam. It is utterly amazing that a Queen site would not report on the activities of their own two remaining Queen members, just because the word AL is attached to some of the news. But it is what it is. Enough said. So Queen fans, who may be casual readers at such a site, may just not know about what is in the works. |

I don't think we can assume much from these Lee Cherry shots. There are many reasons for him to be doing a shoot including just updating his acting portfolio perhaps? It seems early for him to be cementing his album visuals and although he has been leaning towards high fashion and suits, I don't see this type photo on a pop rock album cover. I am going to be patient knowing that art takes time and wait for at least some word from Adam that he is getting close to finishing.

This is probably the same interview that y'all heard last week, probably making the rounds to the various radio stations. But I am not sure, does anybody have a d/l of it? She said that Brian said they ARE going to tour, and to check his web site for updates. If this is in a recorded interview, then it is the same one. Different people get different things out of what they hear.........
must say I am liking what I hear/read......

Holst -- I love Muse but I agree. I would also like to hear Adam do a live performance of "Soaked" is a stripped, more Kurt Weill style (but well sung). Sort of Berlin 30's style. Muse was one of the acts I was DYING to see at iHeart. I know they didn't have all their light show and all, but I was disappointed. Expected more from Matt's voice, live! There was something off about their sound at iHR. It was pretty good where I was but I have heard it was bad in many parts of the arena. They are much better than that. They were the only Friday night act that brought their own sound equipment and crew -- because they are very particular about the tech aspects of their performances. I was surprised to hear it off a bit where I was -- and more surprised to hear the comments later. I have seen them in concert and Matt is usually great live but has some off nights. But that is the most off I have ever heard him. Finally, I was the only Muse fan in my section of the floor except for the people who came with Muse. It is very different at their concert -- filled with fans and a long performance. There is time to build the energy -- hard to replicate that with a short set. |
