Thanks for much for temporary home. Twitter is such a spacey kinda place. Don't know how some of you are able to live and breathe there. But it is probably good to have at least some emergency quarters established there - better than nothing.
This here is so much better, but it is thanks to twitter and a few responses that I found this today.
That web server over on Proforums was 'wobbly' for days. Eventually just before we ended up losing contact completely, it even gave DB errors - I sure HOPE they came from the web server and not from the DB server level. I don't care if they shoot their web server - it can join the infinite search for long lost PF - jeez - hope it finds it? But the DB better be ok...do.not.want.trouble.there. - I don't care how many 'mirrors' they guarantee they have, use, look into......that data base better be in tact.
Q3, are you given any ETA by their hotline/customer support or are they not even saying anything?
Again, thanks for giving us a roof over the head here, meanwhile and if this becomes the final home, then fine too, of course.
Summit was so great yesterday, Chamillionaire - wow. Adam is at his best when it's bit more interactive. But it was interesting how those artists with a major label behind them are on one hand envied for having that position and yet the label is constantly blamed for all that is wrong with music industry today. And in some way, both sides are right. Adam is caught in the middle of that debate quite often, not only on this stage. Adam was the great diplomat he is, but he was on the spot and that discussion just skirted the issue tbh. He needs the label, of course, but there is a truth to what outsiders are saying. Cham seems to have freed himself from some of that and I need to find out more about him and what he did and how he is successful doing it.
And the labels need to reform themselves. Every artist needs a team, nobody can do it all alone, people who call for their abandonment are imo short-sighted, but obviously the direction needs to be forward at the speed of the market and that is where they are struggling to adapt. Interesting discussion, a bit separate from the social media topic, but of course enabled by all this.
Chamillionaire reached out to Adam after the summit via Twitter. Hope Adam returned that - did not see. Chamillionaire was very responsive and positive to that unplanned Glambert invasion, which hit him yesterday from what I could see in twitter messages. Quite cool, actually.
Need to run now, will try to get avi and other stuff organized a bit later or even next week, its busy here right now.

Just found y'all --- thanks to gelly and crazylady! So, I am only on page 2. Wanted to do my own personal sqeeeeeeeing over a comment after the summit. Nope, not that he had romantic time in Paris. Good on him, but .... doesn't affect my life. He said that he recognized that the VOICE was sometimes (?) covered or overproduced on FYE and it was going to be FRONT AND CENTER IN YOUR FACE on the new album. Now, THAT, rocks my world!!!!!!! Thanks to Q3 for finding this new way to feed our addiction. Now, back to catch up. Yup !!!!! I let out my own squeal at that. He listens to fans; he gets it. He also added that the muted vocals might have happened because of being in such a rush. I wonder if he said that so as not to offend his producers--who are probably used to covering up weaker vocals. I think Adam fibbed a little about letting fans help choose outfits, etc. He loves us but makes most decisions on his own without feeling the need to consult others which is fine. If he had verbalized it it may have come out sounding harsh so I don't blame him. He did explain that artist should have control but left the outfit statement hanging.

I'm a long-time non-registered lurker and usually read Adamtopia for breakfast. Imagine my surprise this morning Glad I found the new (temporary?) home *phew* and to get my happiness all over you I decided to register :D Well, can't wait what the Grammy-Sunday will bring us and maybe I'll become a serial de-lurker Welcome, Annie!

Whew, thanks Q3!! Thank goodness we have a temporary home to celebrate the weekend's festivities! I was going nuts last night trying to get back into the site. I wasn't finished reading the thread. :(
About staying here, is anyone worried that we may lose some peeps in the transition if we move again? It IS really easy to get here and get set up so all SHOULD be well. What I love about this site is the page jumping feature. Yeah, I can multiply, and it's just a slight nuisance....
A tiny suggestion to make it REALLY easy for people... could the reference to this new site (at the old site) be set up as a direct link that you just have to click on to bring you here? You have to copy and paste or re-type now, at least I did.
I would vote for any light background and dark letters that make things easy to read. I avoided joining PF for months because I found it really hard to see the text against the purple background.
ETA: Just to be clear, I'll be happy no matter where we are!!!
Okay, now LET's PARTAY!!!

well, first I see some of you wouldn't mind staying on Proboard... ummm not sure how I feel about that.. I liked the other board.. As long as I have everyone here wants to stay, I quess I am ok with where we stay..may not like it but, will get used to it I guess.. :-/ but... can we have the daily thread? and not a 100 pg thread to wade through... js.. the daily thread made it very easy to figure out what you might have missed. also.. I have a question concerning the set up here.. is there a way to get more posts on a pg? I am only getting maybe 10posts per page. so pgs are racking up very quickly..

Since I'm feeling so nostalgic; I decided to use my original PF avi because I always loved it and it works best with the Hi Guys! personal message. So pretty here. BTW, GrammyForAdam is trending worldwide on Twitter right now. Love it, susiefierce! BTW, someone commented on your post at 1:39pm and I noticed that your original post was at 1:00pm. All I had to do was click on the referenced time (1:00pm) and, voila! I didn't have to scroll back to find the page, then search for your post. (Maybe everyone knew this already and it is news only to me?) In any case, I'm stoked. I think I like this place. And, I now have my LongAssName and my captioned avi again. Yep! I like this new house. Now off to check out the rest of the neighborhood. WOW, Emo!!! I did not know that. Awesome!! As you can see, I lied and changed my avi anyway. I LOOOOVE this .gif
