Still shaking in my boots.. 12 midnight ,my Husky who refuses to come into the house at night,was howling,barking , and was practically screaming.My Other dog ,in the house, started barking hysterically. It was 20 degrees out . I got dressed ,got Husky's leash and guess what, she ran away from me.. She thinks she's an owl,sleeps in the house by day and out, in the fenced in yard, sleeping on a pile of leaves at night. I looked over the fence and there was a bear ,a few feet between me and the fence.. it had thrown over my neighbors garbage pail and was busy eating the remains. OMG I'm terrified of bears.. I ran into the house & armed myself with a big flashlight and pots and pans to bang to frighten away the bear.. nothing.. Dog still howling and running away from me. Woke up DH.. who said what can i do. I called 911 and they said stay in the house,I said but what if the bear climbs over the fence and attacks my husky... "STAY IN THE HOUSE" "Alls well that ends well" still shaking.. So How was your evening?? :  Oh wow girl!! I'm glad you and yours are OK! My evening was exciting on a completely different level. Went to see "Blue is the Warmest Color" a French lesbian love story with my partner. Some of the best lesbian love making scenes I've ever seen, with a really good, believable story line. Long movie, but very worth it. And really HOT. We were up kind of late...... Just read a great review of this film in our local paper. Steven Spielberg and the 2 young actresses are being lauded for their work. |

Walmart reminded me today that it is time to make a new calendar for 2014. Soooo, which of the hundreds of gorgeous shots of our boy do I include this year? Do I limit them to just those taken in 2013, or mix with older shots? And since much of the year Melvin has been in every shot, do I feature Melvin prominently, or just slip in a couple? (I usually prefer clean-shaven but a couple of those scruffy 5-o'clock shadow pics were drool-worthy.)
Since there doesn't seem to be any news today, perhaps folks would post calendar-worthy photos for me to include? The higher the resolution, the better. And, no need to include the smoking pic. That is already on the short list for inclusion. I do need a higher resolution of that one if someone has it.
