I thought artists TOURED to promote an album. There are many musical acts that never get radio play and minimal exposure from mainstream sources. But they continue to make music and perform LIVE in what is called a tour. They appear night after night in towns and cities thoughout the lands. Many do it without funding from a label or corporate sponsors. I don't know how they do it. I guess it is ticket sales and merchandise. I still don't get why Adam did not make a Trespassing tour happen. Is it harder for a soloist to tour than a band? More expensive because they have to hire musicians? I do not understand. I hope he will TOUR again someday. I remember Adam said early in the Trespassing cycle that a tour would depend on sales, which seems to be the reverse of the idea that tours drive sales. I don't understand why he said this, but was not surprised at the lack of a tour. |

Fun test! I had problems in choosing the last letter... but I think it's an octopus (and close to an owl).  ETA ... and reading more descriptions, a lion is the type I often have got in tests... hmm, is it that I'm getting older and prefer a book? I am an octopus. |

I have a long history with the Myers-Briggs, so I was interested in finding out what animal I am...  It's so cool that I'm a dolphin -- I actually got to swim with some dolphins a few years ago, and it was really amazing! Look at them -- you just know that they're laughing . . . |

Hi mehitabel, I'm an owl too. :D Not taking it too seriously, but it was fun. Well, I'm a FOX. I think it fits. lol Hi! [waves] Fellow fox here. Guess now we do have to find out what the fox actually says, don't we? I have faithfully done my duty of watching Marry the Night multiple times in the last days. It's hard work, but hey, everything for the 2 million (and more) views, right? And since I had some time to think about it, it struck me that the mic throw might be a reference to the mic throw at the end of The Zodiac 'A change is gonna come'. Especially because this is Adam all glammed up, and together with the sentence ".... someone who always inspires me to be myself, not matter what other people think". Or am i reading too much into it? The Zodiac performance is an pretty long time ago... |
