Sigh. I feel like Adam is back singing in the back row of the chorus of a musical. It's just such a waste of an exceptional voice, altho his voice does blend well and make the group sound richer and fuller. Hopefully, the episode will feature more of Adam than we can hear in these two songs, and gleeks will love Starchild/Elliott/Adam and want to see more. He has solo verses in both the songs, BB! I can clearly hear him, even in the harmonies. From his photos, seems like he is having a blast! Poor Demi hasn't even had a solo and she'll be on her 4th episode already! And c'mon, who ever dreamed we'd ever hear Adam singing animal noises!  Demi sang Here Comes the Sun to Santana in the diner. This is an ensemble show and not a showcase for Adam's voice, as exceptional as it is. I'm happy that Adam has the opportunity to be introduced to new fans because that's what's most important here. |

I understand, I want Adam to sing solos everywhere anytime too, but his role here is to be part of Glee, not the stand-out that makes all others look like kiddos. Adam is willing to blend in, so I think we should be ready to accept his role here too. Glee is the stepping stone to bigger audiences, which Adam will need to have a successful A3 and tour. And he helps Glee, by lifting the show up and bringing a new dynamic and added storyline to the show. So it is a win-win.
He was granted this mega entrance in 5x04. I don't think we can get spoiled and expect that every time. It was amazing, but I guess, now it is time to just play his part. Open dialog here is of course great, but I hope, not too many people start being ungrateful on youtube and other places. Tbh, I am not terribly impressed with the latest two songs, personally, more the mega production that is in the way, rather than who is singing or not singing. But I am going to buy them, give them their hits online, just do the usual support. The time to shine will come soon enough. And I am looking forward to the additional acting, the apartment scenes, etc. It's all good.
Sounds like Trevor will be the next vocal solo for us. I am very happy with that.
