Small qualification -- I also love watching Adam perform with an ensemble -- he seems to enjoy sharing the stage -- just love his solo's more. I think people watching this upcoming episode will be amazed to see Adam blending in so well. I wonder if the Gleeks have heard Titanium?! Better yet, Aftermath with Curly Sue (What the heck is her name???!)

Don't get me wrong. I'm not criticizing Glee or Adam. I get that he is a guest artist in an ensemble show. I get that this is wonderful exposure for him and may open doors to other opportunities and gain him many new fans. I get that Adam is such a talented artist and humble person that he knows when to stand out and when to blend in. I get that choruses and ensembles and directors love having Adam in the cast because he is such a strong team player and his voice greatly enhances the overall sound. I am very excited about Adam's collaboration with Glee. I was just expressing my personal frustration with not hearing that exquisite voice front and center on a great song. There will be other opportunities, I know. In the meantime, I will whole-heartedly support his latest project: Glee. He's not the lead role YET. Looks like Adam Shankman is part of that TrevorProject charity concert in December. So hopefully it will give him idea to make another musical movie that wants a voice like Adam.

Since it appears to be a slow news day, I'd like to share what happened to me yesterday afternoon. I had an appointment with my regular hair stylist for highlights and cut......and I got a new shampoo girl....lovely young woman in her 20's....she was a talker which I liked. We started talking about music when a Katy P. song started playing, so of course I took the opportunity to bring up Adam, asking if she knew who he was, etc......"From American Idol? He didn't win, right? Who won that year? He's gay, I think (LOL!!). I know he's hot looking because my girlfriend met him and had her picture taken with him!" This is what I find baffling: her FRIEND somehow managed to meet him and get a photo....how can this girl know so little about him? She doesn't watch Glee (another shock), so I told her to check out MTN performance on YouTube, in addition to iHeart radio.....she said she would, so I made sure to give her a good tip as insurance! *can't get smilies to work, so pretend winky face here* OT...feel free to scroll....but another funny moment during my appointment: I started wearing hearing aids last year *thankyouIronButterflyConcertInnaGadaDaVidaBabyGinormousSpeakers* I do NOT wear them to my hair appts because I don't need them getting accidentally damaged during the cut......so yesterday, Melissa is snipping away, talking about recipes she is making this Thursday....and I am trying with all my might to hear her above the music blasting, the multiple tv screens surrounding us....and all the chatter from other customers......I thought I was doing ok....and responded appropriately as needed....until she asked me if I ever made Charles Barkley.....????????? I hesitated.......what do I say? "No, I have not! How DOES one make Charles Barkley?" Fortunately, I hesitated just long enough for her to begin giving me the recipe......for CHARRED BROCCOLI!!! *imsert embarrassed face here* Carry On!! Thanks for the laugh. My hearing is not what it used to be and I have had moments like this!

Isn't Adam Shankman also one of the choreographers for Glee? Yes, I also think Glee could be a great big stepping stone in our Adam's career!

Freddie memories. Dr. Brian May @drbrianmay 31m A fitting day to remember #FreddieForever I think we made good use of the day. Thanks for all the great messages. Bri pic.twitter.com/YsPKqEh1kuETA: I just want to say how amazing it could have been if Freddie were still alive and Adam could have performed with QUEEN the whole band. Seeing these two charismatic artists performing on stage together would have been amazing!
