This may be the funniest news page ever! Still can't believe I DLed What the Fox Say!  It is now stuck in my head -- again. Last time it latched on to my brain was after the first night of iHR when Ilvis performed it. It was neither the best or the most desired memorable moments for me -- but it puts memory claws into my brain. I was cleaning up after my dinner tonight and singing only the Adam parts of The Fox song -- and my husband asked me, why are you singing that song. I explained and he just shook his head, muttered and wandered off. And I just danced, and sang... Jacha-chacha-chacha-chow!

Early morning musings: Against my better judgement ,I watched the AMAs The following,All IMHO, Really same old ,same old.It's a popularity contest of the Coolest High schoolers in Music, Same winners for the most part every year.Talking Taylor Swift here ,who just owns every award in music. Katy's sound system was awful... over produced production, but pretty Japanese scene,having nothing to do with the song,which I really don't like. Playing Madame butterfly?? Justin Timberlake is very cool.. too cool for school.Loved his big number about drinking.Lady Gaga, good voice,awkward moves.. Marilyn Monroe look , Song boring. I really like Miley's voice and I love Wrecking ball.. What was the Kitten .. sarcastic move,all kittens and flowers rather than sex??? THe best of the night ,to me was Ariana Grande.. What a great performance and what a beautiful,full,exciting voice. I think she was the highlight of the night . So glad she won an award. I liked the lessening of over the sex moves and much less rap.. Most of the singers can actually sing. Just tired of the same folks over and over again.. Oh I do really like RiRi.. Icon at 25.. wow. This production,IMHO had more class than recent AMA Shows. Adam not being there made me mad and sad, but of course he's not one of the cool kids, That's why Glee is such a good fit. I think at some point, Adam will garner some Grammys , To me, those awards are more meaningful.. Just me talking out of my hat.. Morning Adamtopia.. ![]() I liked your musings. I couldn't bare to watch it for two reasons. The same old same old as you so well put it and the lack of Adam. It is not so much that I care he was not there (though I do care), what gets me is that he wants to be there. The "no trespassing" sign is garish and glaring and I hate it. Yes, I am thrilled with all that is happening and no, I don't think lack of pop music acclaim will make a difference in the end. He is destined for greatness and it will come in a variety of ways. But for now, the AMA thing remains a sore with a very thin scab. I don't like November anyway. Too many sad memories of icons. Adam presented in 20111 and he really had no reason to be there tonight. So, I doubt he wanted to be there. When he has new music, I think he will be there. And "my girl, Miley" was totally trolling everyone! Her song made me LOL! |

I have something to confess!  I wrote last week that I hated the fox song and now, after listening to the Glee version, I don't find it that bad anymore! ![]() It's somehow funny!  And, as some of you already mentioned, I have the song stuck in my head now  and catch myself at singing along!   So cute and so true .... this damn thing is stuck in my mind and I am going around "foxing" and getting very weird looks  |
