Speaking of "what the fox says..." Here's a little rescued fox making some pretty sweet sounds: A few years ago we heard what sounded like a baby crying in our back yard. We put the porch light on and saw a furry baby fox sitting on our porch step. It was a very unusual sound. Later, baby and his siblings took up residence with their mom under our utility shed. We were able to watch as she raised them to independence. What a wonderful mother!!!! And the babies each had their own personalities. But, after that first encounter, we never heard them vocalize again. |
