My latest "Glee" fantasy:Pamela Landsbury decide they want to do some original songs, so Elliott brings them a couple of new, original songs that the band LOVE!! These songs are actual Adam Lambert written songs, and will be on his upcoming album, one of which will be the lead single! They will show off his voice brilliantly and the song will be a huge hit and draw in thousands of new fans! #DreamsAreFree I love this fantasy!! Love, love it too (bolded some parts) Here's wishing!

Adam Lambert' fans @adamlambertruab 7m Сомнительный факт о концерте Ламберта, но все же "Почти знаменит" rollingstone.ru/articles/music/almost_star/18383.html … via @rsrussia translation of the tweet: Doubtful fact about Lambert concert, but still "Almost Famous" Adam mention in this s article seems to be erroneous...Here is the Google translation: Once it was the law of Dima Yakovlev, once - the law on insulting the feelings of believers, now top absurdity and obscurantism Russian legislation confidently heads sadly notorious law prohibiting propaganda of homosexuality. Under propaganda "adjusted" is all that is contrary to some mythical "norm", born in the minds of our Duma, particularly Vitaly Milonova. You probably should not dwell on the fact that such a thing as "normal" in this case - it is heresy. Any rules here and there can not be, except of course, that with the noble aim served in the form of the mental health, morals, cultivation and protection of children. Homosexuality - it's not just same-sex relationship. This kind of love, feeling, drama, tragedy and happiness definitely single person. If globally, the law banning the promotion of homosexuality - a ban propaganda love. Squalid ban because low. A low because "beat" has always been easier to someone who is weaker. It has always been easier to make the object of their ideas group, socially unprotected. Thereby provoking the masses as dogs running on the smell of blood. To paraphrase Pelevin - People hawala. In this case - under the "fire" immediately got the LGBT community, a minority, and hence the apparent weak link of society, eternal outsiders. Ban discriminatory forged politically motivated. In our country, you know, so it was led, as in the good old world Orwell NEED love, at least, God, as a maximum - Leader. These concepts have become interchangeable. Directs his love for the president, but in any case not to the person who is around you. And I'm not surprised that 68% of the population is entirely "for". No wonder that Russian law affected people related to the creative niche, and musicians in particular. Many international artists were right with his criticism. It's no longer a secret that the sexual orientation of many foreign artists, to put it mildly, does not coincide with the current Russian concept of "normal." With a light hand B. Milonova canceled, but simply frustrated already announced concerts of international artists. In turn, the musicians themselves, or just do not fear and do not hesitate, they say, "from the stage" support sexual minorities and ironic comment "milonovschinu." Restriction below 18 + concert artist with not very traditional orientation - now like a red rag to a bull. So, for example, in mid-March was foiled enchanting Adam Lambert concert in Moscow. Vitaly Milonova really did not like the 12 + restriction on posters, and as a result - the performance was stopped right in the middle. It is sad to admit, but "milonovschina" timeless classics and managed to encroach. Even Tchaikovsky, as, say, an inactive party's modern history, has suffered from the ubiquitous ruchonok new law. Writes columnist The Guardian, after the introduction of the ban in June "propaganda ..." filmmakers "Tchaikovsky" caught in an awkward situation. And avoid trouble decided to make a film about the composer, not to mention his sexual orientation. Despite all the above, there is almost a positive trend - most musicians do not refuse to come to Russia because of "antigeyskogo" law. Conversely the same - they do it in spite of. According to the Elton John concert cancellation in protest adopted in Russian law prohibiting propaganda of homosexuality will only exacerbate the isolation of representatives of Russian sexual minorities. And I guess I secretly agree. And, by the way, in the summer of 2014 to the second festival "Cleaning up" the group will perform Placebo , whose frontman Brian Molko does not hide his bisexuality and trenchant expression does not skimp.10 famous musicians pictures follow, including Adam's picture.

Who was the person who had the Glee fantasy that Adam's secret reveal was that he was studying opera, and he sings an aria on Glee? It prompted discussion about whether or not Adam could credibly sing an operatic aria on Glee. Well, I was chatting with our favorite opera singer/voice coach, Angelina Kalahari, this afternoon. I told her the fantasy and asked if she thought Adam could sing opera. Immediately, unequivacably, and adamantly she said "YES!"
He definitely has the techniques necessary. Additionally, he is a master at vocal placement, which is all important in opera. He almost always sings within the "mask" in the front of his face, which is very desireable and something most pop singers do not do. (She is referring to that brilliant resonant richness to his tone that we refer to as 3D.) Opera singers also work on emotional delivery, which he has in spades. And on proper articulation, which, again, Adam has down like no other.
I said something like, "So, Adam could sing opera right now, with some coaching on style." She said not only "yes" but that he wouldn't need coaching. At most, he would need a bit on Italian pronunciation, but he has the keen ear to pick that up very quickly. (He also told her when they chatted once that he had sung opera during The Three Waiters gig. She commented that he wouldn't have gotten or kept that gig if he couldn't sing opera credibly.)
So, there you have it. The definitive (IMHO)answer to "Can Adam legitimately sing opera?" Now, in what universe can we convince him to give it a go, just once?

A little bit of gossip can cost this person their job I had a real problem when I saw Adam on that flight to Vienna .. I didn't want to "out" him where he was (and such an unexpected place!) but was sooo excited!! My Taxi driver sure remembers me until today, I'm sure, I even forgot my holiest of holies, my kindle, in his cab because of the excitement ;-)
Thankfully, until very shortly after I got home and turned my computer on, somebody else already had spilled the beans .... but I was a good girl until then!!!!
ETA: But I (think I) understand your comment, in my job I know highly confidential things on a regular basis and would NEVER ever make them public (just for ethical reasons alone, nevemind losing my job) ... so I have not much empathy with someone who spills info on 1) Adam - if he doesnt want it out 2) a guest/passenger
I would not do it, don't understand it, but have no qualms getting my rocks off it either

So, there you have it. The definitive (IMHO)answer to "Can Adam legitimately sing opera?" Now, in what universe can we convince him to give it a go, just once? thanks, cassie, for checking with Angelina. I have no doubt he can hold his own if he would decide to do so. However, as you know there have been no signs of Adam showing any interest in classical/opera singing... for instance - we never heard any reports of Adam attending the Met in NYC, only Broadway shows...and to me it's a somewhat transparent sign of sheer lack of interest on his part, just because NOTHING surpasses the excellence, the grandeur and the pure unsurpassed beauty of REAL SINGING that happens on that stage. But not to Adam. So, why would he want to sing it himself? well... may be once he matures...

I can't decide because written, the context could go several ways. "I guess he expects me to SERVICE him on his flight" Play on words because he is a flight attendant, he serves Homophobic inappropriate or just tacky sexual innuendo
and I agree he will be lucky to keep his job or avoid suspension
